I have been playing quite successfully on my Barb in the lvl 60 pit most of the afternoon, farming master working materials, took a 30 minute break to go do stuff, logged back in, and now I am being absolutely trounced, both on my Bash Barb, and Minion Necro.
Did something else get changed this evening, or am I suddenly having a really bad streak of sub-power? And this is nothing to do with the Holy Bolts nerf - I’m not using that.
No hotfixes were deployed today, just the main patch. Now are enemies dealing too much damage to you, or you just aren’t dealing enough damage, or a mix of both?
Did 115 on Bash Barb in mostly 8/8 at best, just stood in everything.
Did 120 something (3?) wherever I stopped last on shadow minion necro. With bonestorm and wand/focus.
No issues, boss hp didn’t feel that reduced for the bosses but think I had 5-8 min left after each boss kill.
Boss health ramps up fast after pit 115 in my experience. Tiers below 115 are significantly easier.

Yeah, I was thinking I’d see a slightly faster clear vs. what I had been doing. It’s very noticably quicker at or below 100 for sure.
I don’t know. This afternoon I did multiple t60, later logged back in and died 5 out 5 attempts, called it a nite. The ground effects, shadow bosses were pretty much continuous no break and 1 hit put me down.

I noticed a big jump in their damage output - leveling to 100 and then to pit lvl 60 I died maybe once or twice. Now I’m dying multiple times per pit. The fire werewolves seem particularly deadly now, even with 76% fire resist, and my necro is being 1-shot from off screen by those skeleton bow things again. Also, aggro control by my golem doesn’t seem to be working as well as before. There is also some kind of spider that is 1-shotting my necro with some kind of AOE - I die immediately so I can’t actually see what it is doing. It doesn’t seem to be the usual poison attack though.

Both my necro and sorceress can not do the same lvl they could do before the patch because of being killed quickly. I thought it was me and a skill issue and was frustrated. My new druid who has lesser gear not leveled or her gliffs leveled is doing higher content then them and they are geared and leveled. I never used the holy bolt potion in the pit so I know that isn’t the issue.
Is there a chance you just ran into bad mob types? My sorc can push significantly higher since the patch BUT sometimes I get terrible mob types before and after the patch that makes certain pits feel way harder.
The mobs aren’t killing me. I went from t45 to t60 after patch and was doing fine. Different boss each time, was even able to kill sharpshooter, and sea hag both of which usually get me. That evening I died to every boss I came too, different one each time. Something changed, I don’t know what but the aoe was insane in each encounter. I’ll try again today see how it goes.
Probably bad boss/shadow boss combos. Some combinations are quite difficult regardless of pit level.
I was playing post-patch and nothing was out of the ordinary. It was only once I had logged out for a while and logged back in that pit mob power suddenly seemed ramped up. The actual bosses were easy, I just had to get to them through all these seemingly powered-up trash mobs.
