Did pit get buffed?

Pit 101 is way harder now and the boss has more hp lol.

Alot was nerfed so I’d say it’s the nerfs and not pit being harder, they made them easier per the devs yea?

My crit damage is 2x higher than before and it is still taking longer to kill them.

Yeah hopefully life seems crazy high now on pit bosses.

Lots of things changed - if you were using gushing wounds for example, then yeah it’s gonna seem tough :wink:

Everything is the same gear wise I actually just gained damage from the patch changes. Anyone try pit 101? let me know.

The tormented boss is much easier with buffs. I tested it with my frozen orb wizard. I did pit 100 and I didn’t see any differences… I’m abandoning fire shield and going for ice shield.

Tormented boss was easier. Mothers Judement had hella hp for me at pit 101. I don’t know if bug or not.

Pit bosses are over-bugged because they take forever now as in 1.4.0
Uninstalled after 2 hours of testing in 6 characters , lowering by 10 the usual farming level of each one before this new disaster . All of them (except Blizzard Sorc who did it in more or less the same time) took forever for kill the boss , was specially painful see that in my rogue that only needed 2-3 stag phases now i barely kill 40% of their hp after third stag in a lvl 89 (she was farming 99s just yesterday in 5 mins , she have 2 BiS Mythic Uniques btw) . Not to mention i took more damage in pathetic low levels as 61 (tried my melee druid there , insane awful) , but now it have a multiplier for each fail in dodge the shadow thingies , what is easy to take in melee chars doing tickles to the boss (LeapQuake Barb was bad , now is just like play level 10 toon in level 100) , so way more insta kills now and way more time to kill them at the same time .
Insta-uninstall , just wanted to test it , but it doesnt worth my time .
I dont even tried all the other stuff .
Tired of play an eternal beta game .
I dont even care if they revert this shame on Pit bosses tomorrow , i´m just done , next try in 2025 maybe .
Its a shame that low Pit bosses (material farming) are way harder than Tormented ones (gear farming) . Pit bosses in farming levels (some might say under 100 but i will accept under 80 here) shouldnt be even a thing to care at all .

Hopefully it’s a bug, because they definitely have more HP. Before I could take out 101 pit bosses within the first stagger. Now it takes at least three staggers. I’m playing a barrage rogue.

Has to be bugged… level 200 tormented bosses take a third of the time to kill vs a level 195 pit boss… have a feeling the pit boss bug was never fixed from the ptr

Same for me, I got all the new gear using sparks (the new grandaddy, new tyrael’s, everything) and went for a quick 101 pit and the boss had way to much HP. I still manage to kill it, but it was way harder than before.
And do not let me even start about the health of the Hell Council bosses…there are 3 of them, and they are immortal.
I’m playing Flay Barb btw.

Yes, did not work. After you die and reset, the boss still has pretty much a lot of HP.

"Its bugged.

They implemented pit as it was before mid sesson patch in season 4 - but added the stacking debuff.

They should have implemented pit as it was after mid season patch - and nerfed hp on bosses by 80% and damage by 66% (to compensate for the stacking debuff. But they didnt do any of this. Except they added the debuff.

This was tested and confirmed by others on the sanctuary Discord.

So yeah. Pit is now harder than ever, and my “buffed” druid had to drop 15-20 pit tiers. Used to farm 101 in 5 minutes now i cant even kill the boss.

So that guy says that according Discord the thing is bugged and in the same state i tested myself (for HP and damage of bosses , cant really say about the mobs of the dungeons)

If it is like that , how in the world a megacorp as Microsoft and a huge-big AAA game developer as Blizzard can fail so much in the launch of a essential part of the game?

Well, I just hope they fix this soon. Should be in the next hotfix I think.

Finished PIT 101 under 3 minutes with Frozen orb, Pit not buffed.

That’s not a wink sort of situation, it’s a Blizzard is dumb and ruined Gushing Wounds and this sucks thing. It was good in one season and now it’s garbage.

That’s quite an understatement - it was so overpowered that after a 50x nerf to it, you are still getting a key passive on par with most of the others in the game.

Before: GW allows bleeds to crit and makes their crit damage into it’s own multiplicative bucket and increases the value of all stats in that bucket and further increases the value of overpowers for bleed builds

After: GW allows bleeds to crit with a slightly higher crit multiplier and further increases the value of overpowers for bleed builds

The after is still a good key passive with a cool effect you can build around. It’s just that previously you could do ridiculous things like turning 1/5 of your bash damage into bleeding damage so that GW would multiply the bleed by 40x or more every time you crit. Now, GW is more for builds that are playing with actual bleed skills.
