No explanation will ever satisfy you and your kind, so why bother?
There is nothing to put in stash
Thatâs a bit extreme⌠2-3 shared per class, in addition every character having their own private single stash tab
So your argument is that nobody should collect loot in a loot hunting game?
Are you for real? Iâm thinking youâre not for real.
Thatâs not lost on me at all. The only people that are lost is anyone that thinks they need 120-150 shared stash tabs. You know, like the person I was responding to (you)?
Where did I say this?
Besides, there would have to actually be loot to hoard.
This. Every character needs about 1-2 private tabs. And maybe like 5 or so shared ones for ease of transferring and storing items that can be used by any class.
50 shared ones would of course be better lol but thatâs not realistic.
âTECHNICALLY I never said those literal words so the obvious implications of my statements donât applyâ
lol, touch grass dude.
You have exactly one more post to prove you are acting in good faith. I have no problems debating people who actually want to have intelligent discussions.
But youâre not cut from that cloth. Feel free to prove me wrong though.
Itâs not a bug⌠they did it on purpose for reasons that are beyond our mortal comprehension
They should all be firedâŚ
Lol that one stash tab is probably responsible for all the terrible lag and rubberbanding in game.
I usually clap back at people crying for heads to roll just on general principle, because itâs a game forum and of COURSE people are upset about EVERYTHING but at the end of the day, a manâs gotta eat and a manâs gonna make mistakes.
But I actually think the punishment fits the crime here. At a certain point even I run out of polish to keep my knight armor glossy white.
There is no amount of mental gymnastics that would objectively justify such spaghetti code. The sheer amount of precedent alone from all the other games out there. Games that even SELL stash space, making it infinite AND monetized!
Whenever the game hasnât finished loading another playerâs stashes it rubberbands you back to make sure it finishes the job. Thatâs professionalism, no job left undone.
The premium stashes in POE are also like 20x bigger, customizable, can be used to list items for trades, etc. and you can have as many as you want. lol
Trust me, I know. I used to be a POEtato head myself. Stopped at the end of Heist league because I was swapping to a full time job at the time and felt like prioritizing other things in my life. Never looked back.
I got nothing against POE. Itâs just not for me anymore I donât think.
I mean, people pay close to 4.99 for like 100 pokeballs In pokemon go lol
My stash has about 7 uniques, a few saphires, and a couple rows of hearts I havent gone through yet.
Loot is locked behind lvl it was found making it mostly useless for alts. I doubt anyone is making more than one character per season anyway with the amount of time it takes to play one character.
Nothing in stash will be accessible in the next season. So nothing will ever be used.
Gems drop like candy and can easily be farmed in 10 minutes. So no need to save those or even pick them up.
Plenty of room already for extracted aspects for 2 or 3 builds in your inventory.
That leaves room to collect uniques
and save some god rolls in stash. I havent even unlocked a tab this season. There is not a space issue, though it seems alot of people have hoarding issues.
Your personal stash implies you only play one character, and perhaps even only one build on one character. Iâm not knocking you for what you find fun or how you engage with the game. But I would make the argument that you donât speak for most people. You donât need nor want the space, but that doesnât mean NOBODY needs or wants it.
I heavily disagree that loot is useless for alts. Itâs only useless for alts of a lower level than your main. We donât have âlowbie setsâ like in D2, sure. And we donât have âgem of easeâ removing level reqs from D3, granted. However, given how prohibitive it is to change builds around at higher levels, itâs not unreasonable if you like playing both Minion Necro AND Bone Necro, to potentially have TWO necros. So that you arenât sending yourself to the poor house every time you want to switch up your game.
Eternal Realm exists and again, the fact that you donât see a point to play outside of season, doesnât mean others share your view. (I happen to agree with you here that Eternal Realm is stupid, I donât like it, but at the same time, imagine if Seasons never happened because of the crowd that thought SEASONS were stupid)
Gems are worthless, agreed there.
How many aspects does your build currently utilize? I find it strange and not at all reflecting my personal game play experience in D4 that you would not save up at least 2 or 3 extras of every aspect relevant to your build. In fact even though thatâs what I TRY to do, Iâm constantly missing that ONE aspect that refuses to drop, therefore I canât upgrade my amulet.
Uniques are ironically the worst. Itâs feast or famine. Either theyâre build defining or theyâre instant salvage.
In conclusion I agree on some of your points but overall, I think youâre projecting YOUR personal lack of desire or need for stash space, unto a community that by and large does NOT agree with your assessment.
Obviously majority opinion isnât universally tied to correct ideology in all use cases. But at the same time, neither should blizz cater to the statistical outlier.
Youâre one man who made it work with minimalism. That doesnât mean stash space isnât an issue.
It was already prepared to be sold as MTX and withheld like other parts of the game.
Otherwise it would take months for this current team.
They need to add one free stash tab and one earned stash tab per season up to a max of 20 to 30. That would be a good start to inventory problems. So each season you can get 2 more tabs total.
