It’s literally OVER. Many streamers during PoE 2 called the gameplay slow and clunky, infinite dodge roll also feels gimmicky and tacked on, really mixed reactions on the new changes to weapons having an innate skill.
Even Quin69, a lover of PoE, said the game was 8/10 at best right now… not so great for a game with supposed limitless potential.

They said they want it to feel like a hardcore version of elden ring but as an arpg. We’ll see how the community enjoys not one shotting everything in sight I guess with totems or something.
8/10 not even in beta would still rank it what 4 to 6 points higher then d4 score?

Umm… why is this a competition? I enjoy both Diablo and poe. They scratch different itches for me.
Also poe is not even going into beta till June 2024. I’m sure they will work out things by then.
I don’t like free to play games, so I don’t really have any interest in PoE. From the little gameplay footage that I’ve seen, the combat does seem slow in PoE 2.
Probably won’t be playing ARPGs for a little while. D4 endgame is so lacking that I find it hard to see myself continuously playing. If Blizzard doesn’t make season 2 interesting, I’m taking a break. I’ll just play fighting games like guilty gear and street fighter instead.

Yes much better to pay upfront and get a complete, polished game like D4.
clown69 is one of the biggest blizz fanboys on the planet and even he stopped streaming D4 like a week into S1 lol.

D4 isn’t polished though thats exactly why you see the hate you do. If d4 was a free game much of the disdain would go away because you tend to go slightly easier on free games because well it was free.
On top of that poe will still exist if you enjoy zooom zoom zoom I want you in my room gameplay…
I haven’t really played PoE much but the bit I have was fun… It must be a huge revelation to realize you can plat multple video games.
Or even go outside and touch grass occasionally like as I enjoy this beer on this beautiful day.

Actually a elden ring arpg sounds kinda neat you attract an entirely new crowd into arpgs.
I’m actually more intrigued since I just recent got into those style of games.
So is it kinda like doing a lost ark raid but solo. Hmm sure would save me momey after getting multiple 1585s in lost ark.
