Noob question and i don’t know anything about this. read online that is possible to change DLSS version to the latest one avaliable. I noticed on my folder Diablo4 is using DLSS version 3.1.1.0. But i see there is a new version of DLSS 3.5.0. So my question is - is it possible to change in to the new version? if yes, how? will i get banned for doing it?
Also some players said that changing DLSS to a new version , when you log out of the game, Diablo4 automatically updates and changes the DLSS version to the old one ( 3.1.1.0) how to stop that from happening? Thanks Some help would be appreciated!

Only DLSS 3.0 requires a 40 series card. DLSS 3.5 will only require an RTX card.
You can switch its version with no issue but latest dlss version isn’t alway the best.Sometimes,it reintroduces ghosting etc.
Diablo 4 has no ray tracing so the RT reconstruction that may offer the 3.5 one is useless in D4.
There are people testing the global “quality” of DLSS versions on Youtube.
A guy named “MxBenchmarkPC” does. You should go and watch his videos to know which DLSS version you should use.

stupid blizzard reverts changes so it canlast one game than the patching restores the original dlss dll
its 2025 and they still haven’t fixed it…
I am running an 14700k 5.6GHz, 32GB 7600MHz RAM and a RTX 4070 super and this game still runs bad after the Vessel of hatred update…
I used to run ultra and max setting with DLSS to balanced and RT to max both of them with no issues. After i “upgraded” to Vessel of hatred the game became unplayable performance wise and simply not pleasant even at the lowest difficulty due to various bugs and laggy game.
I asked for a refund and so should you, this game is not it sadly. There is a reason why people to to POE 2 and no one is playing this game anymore… Its sad but true…
The latest PTR patch available for predownload since yesteryday (2.2.0.62921)
reveals that Intel software have been updated :
updated XESS 2.0.1.34
added XESS frame generation 1.01.31
added XELL 1.0.1.6
but the DLSS has been only updated to the same version on the live servers of S7.
Can you please update to the latest versions ?

Just Google nvidia dlss.dll 310.2 and nvidia dlssg. Dll 310.2 - tech power up is trusted source
After go to your diablo 4 game folder and replace the files there with what you downloaded. Once replaced right click - properties - details and it should say 310.2
Next is nvidia profile inspector - just Google nvidia profile inspector revamped
Download it open it
In top left search diablo 4
Look for preset box - change it to “latest” or preset K
And save. Should work.

isnt d4 with dlss and framegen on allready the same buggy mess setup like from the beginning? that chaotic situation wasnt solved yet?!
I am using DLSS swapper, but ty.
however eeach time the client is restarted, old files are ‘restored’.
so that’s why I am asking if they can update on their side, since they did it for intel which we don’t care so much basically.

I juste pre-downloaded the PTR 2.3.0 patch and I can see that they finally updated DLSS to latest version 310.2.1
I will see that tomorrow evening on the PTR !
