I think it would be really neat to see Diablo IV join the Nintendo Switch library. Since it is always online, that would theoretically support cross-progression I imagine (so characters could appear on PC, Xbox, Playstation, Switch). We have Diablo III on Switch, so including Diablo IV would be pretty fun (with a wi-fi connection).
What do you all think of the possibility of playing Diablo IV on Nintendo Switch? Whether it’s for the current Switch generation, or the upgraded “Switch 2”? Would you like to see it support cross-progression and cross-play as PC and Xbox/Playstation does or leave it as its own ecosystem (as Diablo III does on Switch currently)? 
If I was a betting man it’ll be on the switch 2 and even more likely on or close to launch.
I mean they know that console is going to sell gangbusters. So it’s absolutely worth the investment
And D2R and D3 is! I just think it must have cross progression like D2R as most are quite invested by now.

I think for the console improvements the Switch 2 is projected to have, it would be a better fit for the Switch 2. Also though a fantastic surprise for the Switch 2, like you mentioned close to launch.
Yeah if I had to pick out of the two: either cross progression or cross play, Id rather have cross progression - mostly for that exact point of already establishing characters and investing time thus far.
