So, As YOU may know a patch was released today and after there was a trial on steam for the game it has a bug where it tells you to buy the game again and in the top left it says trial active.
I wonder how many folks tried to buy it again? Can we honestly say with confidence that no one paid it again?
What I can assure you is that a lot have reinstalled the game lol and I am one of them. Not sure about rebuying because you can’t on steam. If someone bought it again it has to be off battlenet.
They know about it and are working on it as we speak.
I haven’t used steam since '05, but will it allow you to easily buy/add multiple copies of the same game in your library?
No i dont think you can buy multiple copies.
Once its in your steam library, you go to the store page for the said game, it will have a banner stating its in your library already. The buy option is still there, but I am assuming incase you want to gift it to a friend or someone.
You missing out, steam has the best sales on games. Can get them insanely cheap sometimes.
I haven’t seen good steam deals since 2010ish. i’ve seen people burn a LOT on their back-logs however.
@Resco10
@FroZen
thanks for the replies.
I haven’t looked at Steam’s way since the gambling fiasco. I do know they added some kind of family share system though. oh, and the Aussies getting refunds implemented.
Got valheim for $10 not long after release, got cyberpunk plus dlc for $20, got red dead redemption 2 for $10. You should look on there it’s great for deals now days
I got rdr2 for $5 right from R*. cyberpunk is meh to me, valheim was a no go. I know the devs MO.
the rdr2 for $5 did NOT include the story, I might add. it is online only play.
Valheim was a no go :(, that game is amazing and cyberpunk is one of the best games I’ve played in awhile it’s great now
D4 on Steam downloaded an update. Now a “Free Trial Max Level Reached" !!!
Not a problem, I’ve been on steam since its release date. Some of the features they have added in the years are awesome. Love the family sharing! Kind of like the olden days where yoy loan your friend a game to try, at least this time you don’t forget where it went.
tyty, I may have to look into Steam as a source once again. one of the last times i’ve seen steam mentioned in a “bad” light was while playing ESO. every time the devs pushed a patch the steam users that played ESO through steam had issues.
Game just got fixed. For me at least. It’s not totally fixed but you can join a game.
OP has posted about it in other threads and still started a new one.
Of course, you are welcome. Generally, I’ve never had a bad experience with steam. I mean when my early days of it my account getting hacked. My proof that I owned a legitimate copy of Half-Life was literally on a burned CD with they key written on it… Skeptical to think they would just deny it, but nope it was valid and got my account back.
I don’t mind epic games launcher or the other ones out there, just really stuck with steam since, I’ve been there since 2003.
I almost tried Epic, heard they were handing out free games. I just never got around to it
Lol, that you are correct on sadly enough. Makes ya wonder, should we just create a small group where have a podcast of what the hell is cookin on D4 forums?
