You’re a little late to the party, it was review bombed the second it was released on steam.

Of course it is and I am sure the Devs expected it and are most likely not going to worry about it too much because people want to see Blizzard fail.

just awesomely proofs the mindset of some people. i can only imagine them being terrible persons to know.

i mean even if i hated the game, i wouldnt see a need to go through such a hassle really.

it’s not review bombing. it’s just genuine reviews for a game in a bad state xD

review bombing implies dishonest reviews.

It truly doesn’t matter. Steam will most likely crub the obvious bombs from people purchasing, reviewing, and refunding.

Internet warriors need something to do with their time, let them rage. Theyll move on to the next thing to be mad about in a day or two.

Where is 52% review bombing? What did you expect?

Honestly if I absolutely hated the game I sure wouldn’t repurchase the game on steam just to leave a review and then refund my purchase. I’d just chalk it up to a loss, and move onto the next game. Talk about childish.

Well many Steam players are angry to have bought the game on another launcher and now it is on Steam with more features (steam deck support / achievements / hours tracking). They have already spent their money on a launcher they don’t like because they liked the franchise, they made an extra-effort and feel now that devs spit on them (they think that devs knew already 3 months ago that they would release the game on Steam in the end but kept it for themselves so that people double-dip).
But i agree for sure the devs expected it obviously they’re not suprised because it’s just logical.

You can agree or disagree but it’s just obvious how they (steam players) think .

haters gonna hate…

Are they honest reviews though?

No one really cares about user reviews in these situations cause everyone knows it is disingenuous. These review bombs minimally impact potential consumers.

I strongly disagree, user scores matter.
It’s also been proven it’s the most effective way for a company to change their tactics. Toxic and childish yes, but effective nonetheless.

They earned it, this and everything that they get.

I mean 5 out of 10 is what it is basically saying right now, and that is about what I would rate it at. Seems like it is about where it should be.

5/10 is a fair score for D4.

They are dishonest.

It’s just man children with a hate on for Blizzard. I’m curious how many of them are really people who just picked it up with the express purpose of leaving a review and then asked for a refund. Which makes it even more dishonest.

Not that any of their efforts will matter. The game made tons of money and is still garnering interest five months post release.

i’m pretty sure sales is what matters. CoD is bad so many years but people always buy them.
