Diablo IV is a combination of Lost Ark’s Developers who were born after 2003 (well after diablo 2 was released). That started playing Fortnite in 2017 when Diablo II was no longer relevant. Who were asked to make an Action RPG like Diablo 2 which they never heard of or played. Combined with the Combat system of Diablo 1 because that developer was playing the work game as a reference.
That’s why we’ll have Battle pass, Mounts, Cheesy open world jumping and climbing animations, and tons of cosmetics but yet none of the substance of enjoyment that came with Diablo 2/3 Combats or even Lost Arks.
This game is SOOOOOO boring and underwhelming I don’t even care about the Blizzard scandals’ ect when I say I’m on the fence if I’m even going to buy this game.
Path of Exile 2 is going to destroy your player base when it’s release. There is nothing you can do to fix this game by June.
hey I like diablo 1. though I wish they weren’t trying to do this games as a service, so far the ‘persistent open world’ has amounted to meeting two people and spending the other ~8 hours playing a single player game.
D2 visual style + D3 combat + Heroes of The Storm skill diversity + League of Legends gear variations + Diablo Immortal mmo engine = Diablo 4.
Hopefully, no microtransactions.

You lost all credibility on the path of crap 2. They couldn’t figure out how to put in all the stuff in POE 1 let alone fulfilling their promises about it on POE 2 and it’s been 10 years. Also, POE animations after all these years still look like dog water. The skill tree is not deep it’s a joke, adding a ton of .5 to x y or z doesn’t constitute depth. But please go on.
i like diablo 4, this is what D3 shoulda been, i was on the fence before but after the beta iam definitely gonna buy it

I see so much resemblance to Diablo 2 that i fail to comprehend your babbling here. Have you even played it? I share your fear for the cashgrabbing greed but to say this game is a flop is not doing it justice. This is a great start of a very nostalgic feeling for me.
You only stated some meaningless facts. What exactly are you looking for that’s not in the game? Like… you have simple single-target skills, more complex multi-target skills, and super aoe on cooldown. You have simple monsters, elite ones with minions, and strong bosses. You have open world outside and dungeons inside. Can you describe a perfect D4 that has everything that the current D4 beta lacks?
Even Path of Exile 1 is absolutely sh… on this so called game.
