Actually would love to see D4 have clans built up like Guilds in WOW. Perhaps a clan bank, perks etc. Just sayin.

If its implemented the same way diablo 3’s clans were I’m okay with it but a clan bank is a bit much in an arpg. However i would like to see the perks be tied to something different than clan member total count. Like for instance you gain perks the more demons you slay in game or something.
What is gained by being in a clan?
A dedicated group of people to do World Bosses, Fields of Agony, Helltide events, and Nightmare dungeons with. Also people to help powerlevel each other during new seasons, etc.
Or, if you have a handful of friends who are gonna play, there’s that too.
Mainly, with Guilds/Clans you know the quality of player you’re going to play with. Rather than trying to group up with randoms.

Not sure powerleveling will still work the way it used to in previous Diablos, given it seems we’re now allowed to group with people of various levels in a way every player of the group seems monsters and items drop adapted to his own level.
But I agree that Guilds/Clans may often offer the opportunity to get a better gameplay experience over random players.
Ah, I was unaware that enemies scaled individually when grouped up. Played the betas solo, with exception of world boss and one friend helping me with a boss.
During beta, I was level 25 when fighting level 27 enemies at the stronghold, my ally was level 17 & saw them being level 18, we both had good ability to deal damage, and it was fun to be able to play together (nobody was “punished” due to our leveling gap), IMHO that’s a good point for the level scaling system, either for teamplaying with people from our Battle.net contacts list and/or from our Guild/Clan.

One thing in clans I would watch for is nonstop begging. Our clan in D3 has been around for a long time. It is small because the players are self reliant, but will help out legitimately. Constant nonstop begging and camping over and over will get you a one way ticket out the door lol.
I help those that actually help themselves lol. Who wants to join a game with someone who just camps out by the door nonstop. Plays dead until the event is over etc lol.
I am on the fence about joining a clan in D4 at this time. Here is kind of what I am looking for:
Age appropriate: 21 and over preferably. I have a warped/funny sense of humor and don’t want it to rub off on kids lol. I am a veteran and I am not politically correct
(PS. I am not verbally abusive in anyway nor do I tolerate it)
Has Core Values: What will the clan tolerate and not tolerate? Do they love beggars? Bringing discredit on the clan by idiotic behavior in the game. (spamming up a chat channel with nonsense etc.)

Same ! The level of stupidity and toxicity I currently encounter on Diablo 2 Resurrected is unbelievable. Il play with real life friends and that will be it.
I wonder if it would also benefit in PvP. Groups the roam together.
Given the devs themselves said PvP is intentionally as is, and won’t be balanced; then yes, you’re better off in a group rather than solo. Simply because there undoubtably will be gank squads just going around and killing players for the lols, not caring about the objectives themselves.
