That’s it. The people have spoken, Diablo is a big financial success and Blizzard is patting themselves on the back. Blizzard now knows that nothing we say will hurt their sales, so we might as well stop posting. There’s no point, they won’t listen, and they don’t need to, they’ve got plenty of customers, Diablo is a huge success, we might as well move on.
Or… you could hang around and post reasonable stuff without hyperbole, calling the devs names or insinuating deceitful behavior on their part(not saying you specifically have done those). The issue is the whining and the premise of “give me what I want or I will continue to try and damage your reputation!” Is so tiring and so last year cancel culture cry baby bs.
You think their goal was sales records? See that cash shop? That’s their goal. They want as many people playing to keep the game popular to draw in whales. They will work to improve the game to do so, hopefully.
Yup. The mouth frothers thought they were the majority. When in reality, they are minority thar haven’t recognized Blizzard games are nit for them anymore. Or they have and cannot accept it and move on.
The point of posting here is not to try to sway Blizzard development. We already know theyll just keep on keepin on.
The point of posting here is to warn prospective buyers that the game might not be all its cracked up to be.
Do you think people write online reviews for restaurants hoping that the sous schef is going to read it?
Season drop-off and continued mX and expansion sales will still matter to them.
With that said, overall, I do think D4 did well. Fully understand others might disagree but I thought most of the systems they put in were good:
-
Leveling scaling I think is an amazing addition. I like having enemies that can harm me and having the world scale means you can go and do something else and not lose the challenge of X
-
Druids Necro, and Rogue class design I think was well done overall l. They need time to balance classes (and some of the issues early should not have happened - Paragon board was obviously not vetted enough when you make 60% changes)
-
End-game is okay for what I’m looking for but I also understand some of the criticism in the current end game.
Hopefully D4 grows well over time. No aspect is perfect and I do wish itemization was a bit better but that ship has sailed. At least the Aspect system allows for Rares to keep value for quite awhile
Maybe you should realize that if the game is doing that well, maybe you’re just a super negative person that can’t be happy with anything?
When everyone else seems like the problem, maybe it’s you
Sorry the game isn’t for you. I’m sure there’s something you’ll like out there.
The incessant whining and complaining is hilarious. Diablo 4 isn’t perfect, but the launch went off without a hitch and I’m having a blast.
A game that doesn’t cater to your specific wants/desires is a *you *problem, not a Blizzard problem.
I feel they stole my 70$
False advertising , then denied my refund.
I’m guessing they paid off the big influences too.
Im telling everyone I know and will not touch another diablo product
And what you may feel it is defecient in might not matter to them. I understand the issues many have brought up, and I have a few of my own. However, mine of my issues are deal breakers, same with the concerns of others.
What false advertising?
I don:t care what the sales are where do you ask for a refund for this pos ?
Something tells me you’ve only touched 1-2 Diablo products to begin with…
They still care about feedback. Their goal is longevity for the game - cash shop, mtx speak to that. They need people to keep playing to reach this goal.
wrong , played since D1 baby
A lot of the things they talked about and hyped us up for were not included in the game. Like runes, items not being most of your characters power and Legendaries not amplifying your damage so much. They did a quick switch on this and went full D3.
However it was all just development talk and anyone who did not realize this with all the information they put out and the multiple beta tests is just ignoring reality. I knew what I was getting into when I bought it.
O the irony to cry about cancel culture when some people had a meltdown over a beer can and having new meltdowns over pride month.
Nothing is perfect so criticism about a product is not personal attacks on devs unlike those threats made on Targets.
Yep. It’s a live service game. They obviously want to make it last and TRY to show people the newer Diablo games are the future and get us to stop dwelling on D2 for another 20 years lol.
Good, the game is fine.
