I actually fired up DI recently and yes, it truely is leaps and bounds better than d4. My crusader is sooo far under the paragon server level now it will be enjoyable for me to level. I was nearly 5 levels above the server paragon level when i left and that was very painful to get any progress.

I just have to re-look up up to synch my ps5 controller to my ipad pro (I actually bought an ipad pro to play diablo immortal since my air was nice but im old and needed a bigger screen) hhaha

best part of diablo immortal is you can actually have a ā€œfunā€ time playing it for completely free and if you wanna get curb stomped (no judgement if you are into that kinky stuff) you can get a free butt whipping by joining the arenas or immortal/shadow events.

Diablo Immortal held my attention as a f2p player for about 5x longer than D4.

The P2W aspect of DI only works so much in Arenas. Beside that, the game is pretty fun to play.

Somehow the Developers know a lot of stuff, rather than D4 folks. It appears that they donā€™t even know what the fun they are doing

I played D:I on and off and aside from spending $20 once, I definitely did fine as f2p. I even got some really rare level 5 gems. If you stay away from the p2w part and just play the game as it is, itā€™s really not as bad as people think it is. In some ways, its QoL is way ahead of D4 unfortunately.

Iā€™ll pay for cosmetics, but not the ability to get drops, so DI is a hard pass for me.

Immortal is great untilā€¦ Except. There they have an end game , but it cost money to compete.

There is an actual PC port of Immortal that was released the same day as the mobile version.

D4 is nothing like Immortal. Immortal actually has some very nice systems in it that are better than what D4 released with. Not including the Pay to Win part - that part sucks if you are into the end game PvP aspect.

Diablo immortal is in my top 3 biggest P2W games ever made. Its complete waste of time and money.

I think P2W is a waste of money, I agree there. I do not think Immortal is a waste of time though. The game is actually well made, interesting, and enjoyable. You can play all the content and quests for free. The only part you canā€™t do is compete in end game without getting stomped. If someone wants an enjoyable Diablo game then Immortal is worth checking out - do the quest lines maybe. It took me a long time to get over my anger and admit that. But I did.

It is available on PC too, not just Mobile. They did listen to the booooos at Blizzcon when we were obviously upset that it was going to be mobile only.

Justā€¦donā€™t think you can do end game without spending cash. Heh. You know that going in though so can set expectations accordingly.

IF you cant participate in the endgame without spending cash then that is the definition of a waste of time in my view.
