I guess SWTOR is the best MMO ever because those were the best trailers I’ve ever seen for a video game. They could have kept going a made an entire movie and I would have watched it. Too bad the game was built around a crappy engine and there was nothing really to do after you max leveled. But hey, it had great trailers so that makes everything okay :wink:

Yea I loved SWTOR, I always said it would’ve been much better if they made it into a solo PvE game instead. Get rid of the MMORPG elements, make it an open world RPG instead, and incorporate every storyline into it.

Either that or just they coulda focused more on endgame content.

That was my thought. Most fans of the franchise were looking for KOTOR 3,not an MMORPG. Ironically, the MMO elements were the worst part of the game. The PVP planet was a failure because the engine couldn’t handle that many players on screen at a time and the operations/raids were very poorly made. You couldn’t even pick the PVP activity you wanted and I always kept getting put in the same event:huttball. It’s fun the first couple of times, but over and over and over again it gets old.

The only reason I lasted in that game for as long as I did is because I played thru every class story, some of them multiple times just to see the different outcomes as well as every relationship angle. Then I hopped back in on occasion when an expansion would drop, but each one kept getting less and less content. Plus it got to the point that some of those cutscenes went on for so long I felt I was watching a movie instead of playing a game. I knew it was only matter of time before it went in maintenance mode. Such a waste.

It is just absolutely sad thast Diablo Immortal looks and feels soooo much better then D4. Not to mention that they get sooo much better content then D4. D4 is failing at every angle(even in their own IP).

i actually really enjoyed my play time in diablo immortal, it was really fun (I did have big big big spenders in my clan) one guy spent a tad over 250k on getting his character to tha max of max and needless to say, we were immortals on the realm. What a cool fun feature in that game mode.

I lost interest as it started to get boring curb stomping people in all pvp that i actually felt bad.

Still as a solo player mode game on a mobile device, its very cool. I might have to fire it back up on my iPad pro (now that i have a pro) haha i was playing on an iPad air only before

id have to rate all the diablo games based on my play times as:

  1. Diablo 3 (not even close of this being the best of all diablo games)
  2. Diablo Immortal
  3. Diablo 2r (got this for free from a friend)
  4. Diablo 4 (best graphics of them all just the mount sucks so bad it pushed it down to this spot - if it was only faster than run speed and wouldnt get stuck everytime you gallop)
  5. Diablo 1 - loved it until someone morphed into me in town, and killed me wiht my own stuff and logged out.

I bet it’s the most financially successful Diablo to date. This is clearly the best and most perfect Diablo game. After all, isn’t financial success all that matters? Which begs the question. Why D4 even exists in the first place? It’s less successful, less popular, has less content, less modes, less classes, less everything. At this point, they should scrap the current version of D4, release a massive patch for Immortal transferring everyone there, and call it a day. I bet everyone will be much happier.

If you are the type of person that would be interested in investing their worth into a game persona instead of playing a game where it was earned in game.
