First lets start with what a successful game Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 LOD was, and Diablo 2 Resurrected was.
It’s a shame Diablo 4 couldn’t fill the footsteps of those games.

Diablo 4 existing in it’s current state mostly.
Diablo is very self conscious about his alcohol problem. You could show a little courtesy and stop bringing it up every time his name is mentioned. He’s already apologized for his last outburst at the reunion when he decided to attempt a backflip right into the punch bowl.
He’s been enrolled in AA, I think we could show him a little support, instead of putting him down don’t you think?

Diablo 4 needs to hit that bottle, and take a new direction
Completely different teams at completely different times with completely different management and completely different ideas. Blizzard North disbanded, doesn’t exist anymore. Old Blizzard is gone. They’re scattered into like 50 different companies, including the ex President, all the leads and founders, Max Schaeffer, Bill Roper, Rob Pardo, Jeff Kaplan, the lead designer of Starcraft, the creator of Diablo… Even the original designers of Diablo 4 left (got fired during the harassment lawsuit).
There’s really nothing to compare, I don’t know why people keep doing it. Accept that Blizzard has changed dramatically since the Activision merger.
