Blizzard your game is having an issue with the play button dimmed with “you can’t play right now” for Diablo 4. Seems many others are having issues with this all day. uninstalling bnet or the game will not fix the issue. There is no notices about this issue. No GMs have reviewed other posts and replied. What is going on, should wejust scrap playing the game going forward?

Same here, put a ticket in… and the GM told me to uninstall the app and reinstall… they are clueless, still happening. Blizzard’s support team is donkey water.

I have owned this game and the expansion since launch, but am now getting you can’t play yet message. Come on, there is an event going on, you want us to pay for skins, but we can’t even log in? That seems like a mistake, now doesn’t it. Fix your game!

- Já desinstalei o Diablo.
- Já reinstalei o Battle Net
- Já baixei e instalei o Diablo IV , e não adiantou nada .

As suggested by another forum poster, I changed my region to Europe and I can play again. Why…who knows, but it worked.

I am having same issue here as well. I tried logging into battle.net through Asia, then the game loads, but I get kicked off the game so frequently it’s hard to play. Please fix this asap Blizzard, I want to play your game!
Same problem. It’s a D4 issue. Just tried to log on to D2R online and was able to with no problem. So it looks like it’s D4.

This is still ongoing. It’s been about 8 hours for me. I can’t play D4 logging in through the Americas to battle.net, the Play button is not lit up and it tells me “You can’t play Diablo 4 yet.” on mouse over. It’s been telling me to buy the DLC for days and I wonder if it’s related. I have had the DLC since it came out.
Played today, tried to make a seasonal character, but found the Season awful. Gave up at paragon 80 once I saw that you needed to buy the stuff regardless. Trying Eternal and it started with “Not in a party”, then stuck in a Que, then 401003 error code, and now it won’t even let me play seasons again.

I had the error 401003 also. I did a scan and repair and it fixed the issue.

I rebooted twice, it was probably just a matter of waiting it out.
Well, the ‘you can’t play until you buy Vessel of Hatred - but I already own Vessel of Hatred’ thing on Americas (but can still play on Europe)’ thing is gone now.
Now I’m getting “There was an error. Code 401003” on Americas and Europe.
Scanning and repairing now… arrggghhhh
scan & repair didn’t find anything. But I can start a game on Americas now. whew.
