If i buy on PS5 Deluxe edition, i will get all bonuses from Deluxe to my PC Diablo Standart edition version?
of course not
minimum 20 characters âŚ
You are supposed to. What ever the highest version of the game you purchase, itâs accessable across all other platforms you purchase the game on. So If I purchased Ultimate on PC, then Standard on Xbox and PS5, Iâd have access to all the Ultimate stuff on the PS5 and XBox⌠Unless Blizzard did another hidden change.
That is awesome. How do you know this?
where you get this info?
## CROSS-PLAY
Cross-Play means that you can add friends who play on a different platform to your friends list and play together. For example, if you play on PC and your friend plays the same game on console, you can add each other as friends and play together.
Cross-Play is currently available in Call of Duty, Hearthstone, Diablo Immortal, Diablo IV, and Overwatch 2. For all other Battle.net games, players from each platform can only play with friends on the same platform.
## CROSS-PROGRESSION
Cross-Progression allows you to play a game on PC, console, or mobile while keeping progress and collections across all devices. For paid games, Cross-Progression does not mean that you can buy a game for one platform and then play it on any platform; you are still required to buy the game for each platform.
Cross-Progression is currently available in Call of Duty, Hearthstone, Diablo Immortal, Diablo IV, Diablo II: Resurrected, and Overwatch 2.
Seems you have to buy the game on each-platform.
But I fail to see how that actually works if the games are bound to 1 ( one ) Battle Account.
EDIT:
Cross-Play and Cross-Progression in Blizzard games require that you link your console and Battle.net accounts. For Blizzard games that feature Cross-Progression, your progress is stored on your Battle.net account.
Ok, so they keep your progression only. The game you still need to buy for each platform.
Rewards for the game purchase should be battle.net account bound⌠so I see no reason why purchasing a lesser version for another platform would lose any benefit already tied to battle.net account
we talking about bonuses from Deluxe edition, wrong read.
I do have the same question, so is the answer yes or no? Would be nice if blizzard could clarify this.
I was looking through Blizzard support and found this for those us who pre-ordered on the consoleâŚ
https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/diablo4/23880208/meet-your-maker-on-june-6-pre-purchase-diablo-iv
If you read that article it actually mentions that if you pre-order on PS5 or Xbox you will start receiving your rewards on June 6th (release day).
Hopefully this helps!!
its a device license not a seat license.
In closed beta - it worked great (the closed beta gave me unlimited licenses to install on all my devices since its all tied via battlenet id). I was able to access all my guys via any device I played it on.
during the âfree weekend beta(s)/demoâ, I was only able to pre-load on my PC since I bought the ultimate edition for pc (however I couldnt install it on my ps5) - I even uninstalled my ps5 version and tried to re-download it and all it would do is download my special copy with my private beta key embedded as a watermark thru the screen.
However on âreally free weekendâ I was able to download on my ps5 (the actual free version - which removed my water marks) and I was able to load my guys again from pc (the ones from the 1st weekend) on my ps5 without issue.
So you need to buy a copy per device you are intending to play on, if i had an xbox - i would have to buy 3 copies but since i bought the ultimate on pc, id only need to buy standard on the ps5 and xbox and still have access to the ultimate via my battlenet tag
I contacted blizzard and they told me that I can use the deluxe edition bonus like the mount on the standard edition of my playstation, the mount will be shared between the platforms. So you can buy the standard edition for console and the deluxe edition for pc and you will still get the bonus on both platforms. Not sure how it looks like for the 4 days early access and the battlepass though, I just asked for the mount.
the mount you get in World of Warcraft (retail) is pretty cool. One of the guys I play WoW with only bought d4 for the free mount in WoW (He said he doesnt even plan on loading up diablo 4) hahah some people are suckers for mounts/wings and pets (I know - Iâm one of those guys)
I mean the temptation mount, the one for diablo 4 . I am not so sure about the WoW mount, I never played the game
, I am not even sure which of the 2 mounts on the picutre is for diablo 4 lol.
there are âmount skinsâ in d4, you dont get a âfreeâ mount in d4, you still have to do a quest/buy it with gold (it was fairly expensive in game). I was bummed when blizzard gave me 20,000 credits to buy stuff to try the in game store and I bought the âmountâ only to find i still had to buy a mount in game with gold and the mount from the ingame store was only a cool looking skin
the 3headed mount is retail wow. the horse skin is diablo 4
I thought the mount that I bought was going to be like âneverwinter nightsâ basically an account wide mount usable at level 1 - however its not the case in d4
Wow ok that sucks lol, weird that they handle it this way, they tricked me into buying the deluxe edition . Yea i am like you a sucker for skins, the ingame shop in diablo 4 will be my financial death haha
Ya, me too! and I was using âfree moneyâ, I did get them alot of feed back on that cash store, I even requested a refund on the $20,000 free money they gave me in game to test the store hahhah
haha thatâs smart, you little snake you
The game itself is platform locked so even if you buy the deluxe edition on pc itâs likely you canât even launch the standard edition until the official release day.
Yea I think you are right, I guess it only counts for the mount skin but not for the early access. But for the battlepass I am not sure though, I guess this will be shared like the mount skin.
