Diablo crashes or freezes the system with ULTRA Texture settings. VRAM is used completely. AMD 7900XTX 5800X3D System

The game runs completely fine, if Ultra Textures are not used.
As soon Ultra Textures are selected it eats up all VRAM and crashes randomly at some point, or causes a complete System freeze.
Newest AMD Driver (which is not yet optimized for Diablo) 23.4.3
Newest chipset driver. More than enough space on all NVME drivers.
Temps of the system are fine (tracked with HWINFO64).

32GB RAM 3600 CL16

EDIT: Win11

I also have XFX Merc 7900XTX, Ryzen 3950X, latest AMD Driver (23.4.3) and NVME SSD.
OS is Win 11 with the latest updates so far.
I have never experienced 1 single crash since playing in beta.
The thing with VRAM I think is intentional: loads everything in VRAM so you do not have transition times or load times from SSD

Thx for your feedback.
Hmm, which background apps you are using while you play.
For me it´s mostly discord, RTSS and HWINFO64.
Maybe its causing some issues.
Furthermore I observed that the in-game Frame-limiter is not working for me in the server slam, just over RTSS I can limit the frames.
In the open beta I didnt have any issues with the in-game frame limiter.

I have Discord and Radeon SW. I also use two 1440P Monitors, 1 at 165Hz and 1 at 60Hz. Both connected on Display Port. I didn’t activate any frame limiter in-game, only the Max Foreground and Max Background. I also didn’t activate any other Settings in Radeon SW nor did I activate HDR or similar.

So seems except of the frame limiter over RTSS we mostly run the same system and software in the background.
My Setu with the two monitors is identical 2x 165Hz 1440p Monitors one with 165hz running and the second with 60Hz to avoid the high idle drain. Connected over DP and HDR off in the monitors OSD.
I have no kind of OC activated no RAM OC no CO or GPU adjustments.

Interesting.
Fingers crossed that my issues will vanish till release :D.

Thx for your feedback man.

No worries, glad I could help.
What I forgot to mention: I have for both my monitors AMD FreeSync Premium activated.
Also, I have the 165Hz monitor set at 10bpc and the one 60Hz as well at 10bpc.
PS: Now that you mention OC: I also have RAM OC (from 3200 to 3800Mhz. Also CL16) and CPU OC, but I doubt these impact GPU. But no other GPU adjustments
ALSO: Do check the DP cable because I had issues with my 2nd monitor (the one set at 60Hz), it was sometimes disconnecting. For both my monitors I use a DP1.4 cable.

I had the same issue, on rtx 4070, initially I downloaded the game without the ultra package, because I am using 1080p monitor, and it ran perfectly fine, with almost no stutters or FPS drops.
Then I have decided to download the ultra package, and although I was constantly at 250fps, the FPS started to drop and the game became way more stuttery, on one occasion I even had to restart it.
