That I agree, D4 will prolly have some expansions, depends on sales OFC and how popular it is (I have red that VoH sales estimated at <1.5 million). Not arguing bout that.

And I’m pretty sure D5 will come at some point, as this frenchise is popular.
There is no point for D5 so far at this time to even think of it. Consoles are very weak, so every dev hasto wait for next gen, maybe then. There is no point to make D5 in same graphics as D4, must be much better.

And if you are interested in my personal interest…well I think S7 is my last season and I wont buy D5 if they make it in the same manner. I lost trust in devs, they can say and develop beta which will lure me in and then turn around and destroy game i left in love with

if im still alive by than, probably. Thats many years out and currently at my age my main goal in life is not to die.
I’d hope diablo 5 would have some very realistic blood/gore and have some old game modes like the 1980s aracade gauntlet style play

I been a Blizzard player and customer for over 20 years now, so the answer would be yes. I would give it a chance and support the game and see how it plays out. However, I expect and hope for Blizzard to polish up, improve and finish fixing D4 and take it out of Beta, and a storyline follow up would be great too if and when they decide on D5.
Either way, I don’t think D5 should even come up as a subject at this point, considering how much needs to be done to fix and improve Diablo IV first. But thanks for sharing anyway. Cheers! - JJ -

Innovation, it has to demonstrate something never seen before.
Nostalgia, it as to show a world that is heavily referenced from the past.
No laziness. True elemental and combat wheels. No level scaling. Seamless. No generic loot. No generic stats. Every class can use everything. No generic dungeons. No saving generic family members. Play every way imaginable. And put Diablo in his own game.
Falling short for the money Microsoft wants for this game is no sale.

I bought D3 soley because it was “Diablo” being a longtime Diablo 1 to Diablo 2 player. By the time D4 rolled around that had changed. I did try the open beta they had twice, each time did have fun. I had hopes. D4 came out and I think within weeks I had my character to something like level 90 and just gave up.
It was the PTR pre Loot 2.0 that I came back. Did buy the expansion, did play season 6 and now season 7. Will not be around for 8, possibly 9.
D5 comes out, I will try a beta or preview. Maybe I have fun, maybe not. But the day I will purchase a Diablo game just because of the name ended with Diablo 3. No matter what one thinks of that game, it was an insult to call it a sequel or continuance of Diablo 2.

No chance l buy at release like l did with d4 and false advertisement.
I will probably wait 1 year after release to see where d3, d4 fans and streamers stear the ship
As of right now l think the old franchise is dead and all subsequent diablos will embrace the new gen design that started with d3.

Well considering how D 4 is now, I can pretty much say thats exactly why D 4 is in it’s current state regardless.
Over 20hrs with drought of whispers on torment 4 no forgotten altar… this game is broken. Never have I worked so hard to get nothing and that’s how much of my money they will get from me this season.
I feel the same. But I would like to see MS/Blizz developing team first, play the beta. But will not preorder, prolly will buy it just for the story - but if the gameplay will be same same , then I might just watch the story on stream 
After all, I did my money worth from D4 vanilla not gonna lie, but I dont want to be dissapointed again

That’s a rhetorical question, really. All the fanboys will buy it no matter what! It can be the biggest garbage ever made in the gaming industry with no more than 1 hour of total game time in it, sold for $200 and all of them will buy it on the first day when pre-orders are available.
What ? Look man, dont judge people based on yourself. In my age group ppl matured alrdy and even tho we love Diablo books when we were young and love playing Diablo games, we are not mindless id***s who will preorder it once it shows in blizz store.
I could compare it to WOW, which I personally was a huge fan as well because after Warcraft 1,2 and 3 we got MMO where we spent literaly our youth, but we stopped when we didnt liked it, it’s easy as that.
Myself? I guess you weren’t here when many people that pre-ordered VoH started making topics requesting refunds.
If you think that those 3-5k people who visit these forums are big enough sample, on which you can judge whole Diablo fan community then you are mistaken.
There are also separate forums in these regions
- Europe
- Germany
- France
- Korea
- Taiwan
But hey, whatever if you think fans will buy whatever happens, I wont persuade you otherwise.
I enjoy D4, So why not?
