I’m not able to start Diablo 4 from battle.net. I have a ROG Zephyrus G14 that I just bought a few months ago. It worked one time after saying my display driver for the video card was out of date (but froze during the video so I had to end the task). I updated my display driver for an AMD Radeon RX 6700S to 23.7.1 which says it is up to date in the AMD software: Adrenaline Edition application.
I’m unable now to get Diablo 4 to even run. I am able to start it in the battle.net app but no actual application comes up for Diablo 4 even though I see the process running in task manager. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I’ve tried deleting program data. I’ve tried repairing the game in battle net. I’ve tried running as an administrator. Nothing seems to work.
If anyone has any ideas on what I could do please respond. Otherwise I might see if I can get a refund (because this is annoying).
I had a similar issue and was able to go into graphics settings in Windows 11 and force Diablo IV to use my specific AMD card to get it to open. No issues yet but will update if anything pops up.
You may wish to try placing the system into selective startup, restart the PC, and retest. If the issue continues, please collect your Dxdiag, upload it to pastebin.com and paste a link back here for review.
Omegarogue Goto your Battle.net account and check the transaction page. The status of your order will explain what is going on with your issue. It is a billing issue not related to this thread. Your bank or provider beyond the card can provide more details on that.
