On PS5, it all started when I “Reset the Masterworking” on a glove. I had to reset it 3 times because the rolls would repeat exactly with the 4th roll of 25% on an affix I did not want. So I tried resetting Masterworking on the glove and jumped to another town Kyovashad (instead of Cerrigar). On the 4th time i tried it at Kyovashad it worked great!
However, I quickly notice that I could not Masterwork on any new items that has not been masterworked before. This is so frustrating…
So to summarize… I do see the Masterworking icon. I can click on it but all the new items are blacked out. Only old items that had been masterworked already are allowed to be further upgraded.
update: it has affected every character on my roster…i’m not able to masterwork on any new items that hasn’t already been masterworked
