Diablo 4 Season 10 Infernal Horde Compasses not dropping

I’m playing a Spiritborn, paragon lv 96 in Torment 2. I am currently stuck on Chapter 4 of the season journey because I need to get a Unique chaos perk (from Bartuc) and I need to run Infernal Hordes. I had gotten some fleeting compasses while leveling, but I didn’t do them because I was doing other activities instead. I’d gotten to Torment 2 before deciding to get into the Infernal Horde activity, but the fleeting versions can’t be done in anything Torment 1 and higher, so I ended up just dropping them on the ground (which might’ve been my mistake and caused a bug I’m not really sure).

Anywaysm I haven’t found a single compass after doing several Helltides, Nightmare Dungeons, etc. I have done over 4 Helltides now, and I have been opening nearly every single chest I see. I have also opened two or three of the orange chests in the Helltide zones, I had read those were supposedly near-guaranteed drops for Compasses but I had no such luck. I’ve also run many, many Nightmare Dungeons, since getting into Torment difficulties, and I haven’t gotten a single Compass there either. I am rank 19 on the seasonal reputation and I have completed all 6/6 quests of the season, ending with the fight against Bartuc.

I understand drop rates are a thing, but I have many Compasses on my last character I played (last season) so I’m aware of how to get them and what the drop-rates are like. As it is, I’m currently stuck on Chapter 4 of the seasonal journey and I’m really disappointed because I can’t progress on it until I can get an Infernal Horde Compass. Please help! <3

I found your post trying to search about this too. Im in torment 2, have opened 50+ helltide chests, 10 or so nightmare dungeons, several boss lair kills, probably 10 or so whisper tree caches, 4 or 5 undercity runs and several pit runs. I got one 6 round shortly into torment 1 and have not seen one since, no idea what the deal is. And all my other progression is basically exactly the same as yours and stuck on the seasonal ch4 as well

I’m having this issue too, there isn’t any reason I shouldn’t be getting torment level compasses but they aren’t dropping at all.

It has already happened to lots of people. It “unlocks” at some point. Sometimes you have to reroll to unlock your account. (What I did but i dont know if it was the real solution, but it worked after that)

I am seeing the same issue. p103, still been in Torment 2 for what that is worth. Is it possible it’s gated behind a certain tier of the reputation track? I am currently only rank 17

I tried one thing this morning that seemed to work, I moved my non infernal compasses to my stash and the next helltide I got a torment level one right off the bat.

It seems hard to find them this season did they nerf the drop rate???

Moving the fleeting hordes compasses to the stash worked for me also. Thanks for finding this workaround!

Logged in just to confirm that putting Fleeting Compasses in the stash worked for me as well.
