I have Windows 7, which is below the Minimum Specification but Diablo 4 runs (very slow because I have a HDD and 12 GB RAM). Not expecting it to run all but it does

how do you manage to get it running in windows 7? i have a windows 7 pc whose specs is within minimum but too old to upgrade to windows 10.

I’m curious what your specs are given you’re within the minimum but unable to update to Windows 10.
Windows 7 really isn’t all that different from Windows 11 internally, so I’m not surprised it can run on it unless Bliz did something to explicitly prevent it from running.
All the minimum specs mean is that they haven’t done any testing on Windows 7, so they don’t know what, if anything, will break on it.
I not surprised you could get it to run on Windows 7 but as an IT professional I have to caution you Windows 7 is a very insecure Operating System and vulnerable to all kinds of hacks, viruses and malware.

It used to run perfectly on my W7, but stopped working after one of their patches several months ago and nothiing has been done about that. I tried everything, it just starts from launcher, you see PLAYING NOW for several seconds and back to PLAY button again. So it is not even starting.

minimum requirement for d4 has always been windows 10. If it ran on w7 at some point, lucky you. If it now doesnt you should consider uprading your system.

my cpu is an i7-2600(sandy bridge), which is within minimum requiresments for diablo 4 but outside the minimum requirements for windows 10, which is ivy bridge cpu or newer. my graphics card is gtx 650 ti boost which is better than the gtx 660. i am not here very often so, i did not notice your posts until now.
When i get my highmems in autoexec.bat and config.sys straight DIV runs fine on MS DOS 5.0
i think you are joking. though i know what you are talking about. i used dos long ago. even when i had windows 3.1 i still used mostly dos, because the games ran in dos. i played a demo of warcraft 1.
