I have invested countless hours grinding, expecting to see a significant difference in loot quality on higher tier difficulties. Unfortunately, the results have been underwhelming. Despite dedicating considerable effort to optimizing my character and striving for incremental improvements, the loot gains in Torment 3 and 4 do not justify the investment. This discrepancy is deeply disappointing.
Moreover, it appears that loot drops in Torment 2 were more favorable than those in Torment 3 or 4, which adds to the frustration. Reports of Blizzard implementing nerfs on spiritborns further exacerbate concerns. There is a sentiment that instead of addressing fundamental issues like loot disparity and class balance, attention is disproportionately focused on restricting player enjoyment.
It is my sincere hope that Blizzard reevaluates its priorities. Strengthening other classes, addressing loot distribution concerns, and restoring gameplay satisfaction should take precedence over measures that restrict player engagement. It is crucial to prioritize enhancing the overall gaming experience before implementing changes that may diminish player enjoyment.

Even though I’ve made it to Torment 4, I still farm in Torment 3, and sometimes Torment 2, for ladder bosses because I can kill them much faster there. Most of my upgrades come from more efficient farming that way.
I offer to help u with any bossing and might summon some too. Boss mats seem way easier this season. I have not been doing mine only in rotas. Urza#1177. I have op gold quill build not optimizied but doesnt matter. Can carry T4 any boss full party.
nerf’s to the SB? Isn’t it a bug fix, and not a nerf though?

There is no difference in quality between Torment 1, 2, 3, and 4. The only difference is the quantity. They made this known, not sure why you are complaining.
A bug is when an aspect works incorrectly. SB isn’t really bugged like you think.
Meh, nerf, bug, what ever it is. I’m enjoying the fun… Like I did with Ball lightning in season 2.
They dont care about player enjoyment and havent for a long time. What they care about is how to add more RNG and grind that they think will make people play longer chasing the carrot.
This is why the game feels soulless. Its all just casino gimmicks instead of fun rewarding content. All they do is look at their metric spreadsheets to see the who, what, where, and whys of time metrics. They adjust casino mechanics to see what works for their corporate leaders best. Blizzard has no idea how to make a fun game anymore. Just casino gimmicks. Sure, there will be some around here that will scold you and tell you these games are about RNG and searching 8 years for an item in a 3 month seasonal game is fun. Thats not what makes it fun.
A fair amount of what you said is an opinion. It’s from your perspective which is fine in itself, but I like the content, and you have others here who like the content as well.
The content itself is fine sort of. Parts of it is fun. Its mostly just more casino hampster wheel though. The game also needs to add a purpose to getting all these things. In a 3 month seasonal game, there should be RNG yes but accomplishments like doing pit 150 which is really the only accomplishment in game… shouldnt be because of some busted bugged OP build. It shouldnt be because you had supreme luck this particular season. It should be because you are skilled enough to do it.
The problem with the game from my perspective is that there is nothing to achieve. There is nothing challenging. The entire game is just 2 things… did you play the broken build and did you have good luck in RNG. Games should be about fun. Games should have challenging content to strive for. Games should let you get there based on skill. You either picked the op build and had good luck and one shot everything… or you didnt and you tool around in Tier 2 happy that you can one shot low content.
Even when you achieve something you get nothing for it. They can’t even reward you properly for that. Where are the cool skins and mounts and pets and titles for beating tough stuff. Well there is not much tough stuff. Just stuff you can do if you had good RNG to get there. But still there should be cool stuff. Lillith is still the toughest thing the game has to offer and even that isnt hard once you time the ledge jumps and have 160% run speed. Even the co-op content is easy.
You make fair point, I’ll never take that away from you.
(*However- what you think a game should/shouldn’t have can easily be up to debate.
I’m very happy/content with this game. My only truest, Biggest issue is the Stability of the game Like Disconnections, and unfair mechanics where you go in an area on your horse and the game lags/stutters because it’s Loading Content and you get knocked off your horse unaware of whats going on.
Anyway- This game has been out for over a year, and it has changed in several different ways. You have people who have been playing this game, every season and still complaining about it (here and everywhere else) when they don’t Have to.
They play the first 1 - 3 of Every season, experience everything about it then complain. What this game offers is what people by now should know.
And what it Should is not up to us but the creators to decide… and like you have said , if people would stop giving blizzard money then perhaps things will change-
BUT because People ARE giving blizzard money (and buying the expansion) Blizzard must be doing something RIGHT. People Must be enjoying the game.
So, the only thing to do (IMO) if people don’t like where D 4 is… Stop playing the game, don’t support it, and go play something else.
And at the very least leave those who Do enjoy this game alone.
But we both know none of this will ever happen anyway.
Well, I do agree the problem is people keep giving Blizz money. Me too. Thing is, how does anyone know what the game will be when they swing directions so much. What the game is now is kinda close to launch. Long grinds, low drop rates etc. What the game was just before expansion launch and even season 4 was completely different. Fast leveling, lots of drops, repeatable sparks. I mean its not the people buying fault they expect something if it actually was that something just a month ago.
The other thing is this forum is here for discussion and feedback. Blizzard asks for it.
They even said so in the campfires. While I would agree that some people leave crappy posts, we can’t dismiss actual feedback about what people like and don’t like just because opinions differ. Everyone likes different things. The problem is blizzard is trying to make everyone happy and thats just not possible. They can’t get everyones dollar. Pick a target market and stick with it. You cant have the cake and eat it too. They cant please hard core sweats and casual dad gamers. I dont care how hard they try.
I agree, Blizzard won’t be able to make every one happy.
Another issue I have is people calling people here names over what they like/don’t like.
Such as white knight/shill, or saying a persons opinion is wrong/invalid, or SPEAKING FOR OTHER PEOPLE.
IMO, Blizzard has this pace of this game right where they wanted to at the start (which for me is fine, for others not so) - they can complain but those who complain need not spend one dollar OR their time playing the game.
Didn’t they say they were trying to go back to the roots of D 2 (or what ever)- People here can’t handle that kind of game play IMO.
Luckily for me, I can handle what ever they turn D 4 into, and if I don’t like it I’ll just play something else , really wont’ post on the forums.
*Every season is different, Every season this game changes, every season the game is gonna change more then likely. Time for people to get smarter about this pattern.
I also think people posting the same exact topic, over and over and over and over again is ridiculous.
Now- let’s see what “blizzard” does to fix the issue they put themselves into.
Because Unless WE ARE Exactly in a meeting with the creators of this game, we can only speculate why this game is what it is.
