Diablo 4 is not bad or dead, just because you dont like it

I want to say that everyone has a right to their opinion. After all, we live in a democracy and have a right to freedom of expression.

But just because you don’t like something (in this case Diablo 4) doesn’t mean it’s bad or dead. other people think its a great game and it makes fun.

Blizzard said last year that only a minority were dissatisfied with the game, and I believe them.

For sure there are people playing Diablo 4 and this is their first Diablo game. I’m sure they love it!

Well, if it was really that bad, nobody would be on this forum, nobody would be watching streamers play it, in fact no streamers would play it or even talk about it.
But…it just could be a looooot better…

To be fair people will watch streamers play anything.

These forums are not part of a democracy, neither is the game. Now depending on what country you live in, you might live in a democracy, but to just make an odd blatant statement like this is extremely ignorant.

Going to need a source for this. Not that I don’t trust your words, I don’t trust anyone’s words on the interwebs without a source.

Now there’s no denying people are playing the game, but there’s also no denying the game needs a lot of work. You can still like something and admit it has flaws.

I mean… it is just a video game.

If that was the case, the campfire chat wouldn’t be a thing.

That’s well proven by their knee jerk reactions to the community. All the “we hear you” happens when a small fraction is dissatisfied.

The forums are pretty much dead compared to the first season, or preseason. Streamers are growing tired and outright saying it. Their followers are massively complaining about the game.

I could be wrong, but think their referring to a campfire chat where they labelled criticism as coming from a “vocal minority”. Which doesn’t actually imply what bearchaser4 is saying it does.

Show us the numbers then…
You cant, Blizzard wont and everyone I know has stopped playing.
That’s not an opinion

Everyone i know has stopped playing.

Had a buddy of mine play s3 for a day then said “nope” and quit. I havent logged in 3 days. Got into a new clan this past weekend because no one in my old clan ligged in for months…it was just me. I was hoping that would spark me into playing more, but still not logging in.

I have better things to do right now….not gonna lie.

I agree.

There are about 8.1 billion people on the Earth right now each with their own thoughts and dreams. There’s no need to generalize. Some people like things and some people don’t. That is normal and okay. When creating and maintaining an interactive product like this, there will always be some people who like the new changes in some people who don’t. It’s impossible to make a update that every single person likes. If you don’t like something that’s perfectly normal.

If you are referring to the United States, it is a constitutional republic with democratic intuitions.

I’d also like to point out that someone streaming Diablo with 40,000 viewers gives literally zero information on the player base of the game.

It does not mean there are 40,000 players playing the game.
That confirms 1 player. Nothing more.

This whole streamer number reflects the health of the game arguments is complete garbage

“Blizzard said last year that only a minority were dissatisfied with the game, and I believe them.” Why? It isn’t as if they’ve done anything to earn anyones trust since this POS came out with the broken promises and useless cosmetic sales without fixing many of the issues is it?

To be fair to the OP, these are the US forums, even though people from all over post on them.

Why though? I mean they sold you a full priced game and it was anything but a full game. That doesn’t really deserve much credibility.

You aren’t wrong, but as we all know any form of social media has their own set of rules people must adhere to, including these very forums, which are not in fact a democracy. That’s mostly what I was getting at. Also democracy’s at their core don’t offer freedom of speech, USA just happens to have it as one of their core amendments, which I believe is what the OP was originally trying to say, but failed horribly in doing so.

“Blizzard said last year that only a minority were dissatisfied with the game, and I believe them.” The only thing consistent in either the itemization or class skills is that they consistently attempt to deny the player either real or imagined sense of power…I don’t know about the Uber items never having gotten any, But really think about it what items in this POS Game is worth equipping? Yeah D3 was a pretty poor game from the get go, Eventually tho it got better not as good as D2 but at least worth playing
