Thank you Dev Team for building a game that has brought me hundreds of hours of enjoyment in 2024. The rpg power fantasy that Rod speaks of came on in full bloom for seasons 4 and 5 and the expansion.
Thank you all for the hours of work but more so for the passion, skill and craft you bring to D4 everyday. Have a joyous holiday season and can’t wait for what 2025 brings!

While I have loads of issues with the game (primarily around the end-game weakness of my beloved sorcerer) I also have had hundreds of hours of fun this year. (primarily leveling and PTRs)
Although i am glad to see an outright positive post from time to time I can’t help be suspicious here. not of a schill, but of a troll. I mean OP’s handle is Thorazine…
I enjoyed casually playing Vessel of Hatred for sure and the new class. Also look forward to whatever craziness Season 7 will bring with the temporary powers.

Sadly it is probably my most played game of the year also, timewise.
I think I have done more chores in this game than in my entire teenage years. 
D4 is my most played game too. By far.
Doesn’t mean the game is any where near perfect.
But I have tried other games and I always come back to Diablo because they just don’t hold my attention, so there is that.
Currently just got Gears Tactics on sale on xbox, and I am enjoying that too, although I can already see it won’t have the replayability of D4.
I was considering picking up Achilles, I heard it was souls like arpg also. But I am spread pretty thin as it is between POE2 and Rivals.
Played way too much D4 myself. The game is strangely zen for me. I can jump on eternal and chill. Definitely a stress reliever.
I will probably try POE2 when it is done, but paying $30 to QA test a free game just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, so I am avoiding it for now.
I’ve got several friends who are playing it and loving it, but they’re recommending waiting for things to stabilize a bit. Some of them are starting a second character after first one got nerfed hard due to bugged interactions.
If you’re a hardcore PoE enjoyer, definitely jump in. Otherwise you might want to wait a few months until the base game stabilizes.
That is understandable, I just wanted to take my time and enjoy the first 3 acts. No telling how much they will rush leagues after launch. And the $30, I pointed this out before, but you would pay that for the 300 points they give you now, later for stash tabs or other cosmetics. I actually have not spent it all, but I did buy the currency tab because it gives you stacks of 5000 for each currency.
The skill gems tab is on sale and very useful as well. It can hold 500 gems, as well as the uncut ones. I got one at I think 30 coins.
