This thread is the most kap thread ever, D4 is very different to D3 just at a base level, it introduces new (albeit controversial) online mmo elements, its slower paced, higher graphics, new/different content.
The only point in this thread that could be agreed with is that the skill tree is poorly designed and could use some more juice, otherwise, no I disagree it is not a D3 reskin. When you play D4 for two weekends as I did, and you go back to D3, they do not feel the same, and actually I find myself going to D3 and thinking wow this is boring I wanna play D4 instead asap.
If you miss skills and gameplay from D3 and youre complaining its not in D4, its cos theyre 2 different games. If you want that stuff, go back to D3

This isn’t Diablo 3 nor does it play exactly like Diablo 3, but I would expect that opinion from a journalist nonetheless.

I have no idea where you get that feeling. I went straight from D3 to D4 beta and then back to D3. D3 felt weird to play and felt like a completely different inferior game when i played it after beta.
So i have no idea why people compare it to D3. The devs have already promised us it wont be a cringefest of set-items being meta with x30k multipliers. So there is that.

Some people complain for the sake of it and some people have no real opinions and jump on the bandwagon for no reason whatsoever, and then theres those that are just negative cos theyre negative people. Not worth trying to explain to cos theyll never understand.

They clearly haven’t played it for even a second. If they did, they’d know most of its worst features are copied from D2.

Because the morons thought it was a good idea to copy/paste every skill from D2 instead. Incinerate sucks a$$, weak as hell.
at level 25. come back and update when you test it out at max level with full specd tree and paragon board

Oh, yeah. Spamming left click on my warrior was the peak of PC gaming.
I think it’s their own engine, but it definitely is not Diablo 3’s engine.

D4 is literally geared for spamming a generator and waiting on cooldowns.
The difference here is that the basic generator is extremely boring.
Yet here you are expending energy on it.
What casuals dont notice is that diablo 3 graphics are actually better its just that diablo 4 has sharpening over 9000

Wow, what an absolute tragedy. D1/2 in Blizzards view obviously does not count as part of this franchise. It’s all about sticking to D3 roots. I wonder if the Diablo 4 dev team can even sleep at night knowing how badly they tried to fool the world with their latest and greatest instalment of this epic franchise and got caught miserably as the fools themselves. You can’t make this stuff up.
