hi. iv been playing Diablo 4 for a while now, but all of a sudden the fans go crazy and the pc shuts down.
i play wow and this never happens runs super smooth. is there rly such a big diffrence in cpu or gpu usege?
i cant play diablo 4 anymore, my systems just shuts down after 3 mins. wow is fine tho.

CPU load is much higher than WoW (which is mostly using one CPU-thread).
D4 has better multithreading, but still unoptimized in parts.
GPU wise, depends on your resolution and settings ofc, but on average D4 needs more horsepower since it is technically and visually way more advanced than WoW.
Did you check the CPU and GPU temperatures?
It’s getting hotter outside and thus you need to make sure your cooling is working and suitable.
If your system is a few years old than you most likely will need to clean and reapply thermal paste for the CPU/GPU.
