No, it’s not! The game in my eyes is the best of the entire D franchise. I loved playing it during alpha, it made me completely forget about DI, and now it is just erasing a little by little every other of the previous D games. Everything in it screams “better”. If you don’t like it and think it’s garbage, don’t play it, I don’t play games that I don’t like. As the saying goes “one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure”.

few skills, lack of customization, low density mobs, LEVEL SCALING (its boring and not challenging), lack of itemization the list can go on D4 is a console arcade game catered to controller players therefore applies well with pv gamers, people forget what diablo actually is and how building a toon meant something now its a boring skill tree forced to pick certain spells you don’t even care for.
you pay for a game then to pay for another fee (battle pass) to get boosts, better transmogs etc…otherwise you will remain a peasant. I refunded the game because its lacking end game customizations is that simple.
As many people mentioned, it needs to be delayed and more work to be done at least 10 months the game is being rushed, stop pretending this is the best diablo game because it is no, visually? cinematically? yes.

what do you know about diablo games to make such a statement clearly you never put anymore then 20 hours in previous released titles. The game is lackluster around many ingame features the only judgement you have is how smooth and fun it is, its in a state of short game gaming like those crappy console games and mobile games.
I agree that D4 is absolutely not like others. It has no offline mode and there is no way to play entirely solo, there will always be other players around.
Which, doesn’t bother me but it isn’t normal for the franchise.
What is bothersome is that because D4 is a live service, the monetization of Diablo Immortal could be upon D4 at any time and we’d have no way of avoiding it because there is no offline mode.
