Diablo 4 feels like a full time job

i have played a lot of it but now i will take a break after unlocking everything for the season , things need to be redone or toned down , if devs see this please consider some of the points below because it feels more like i am working when i am playing , here are my 5 points :

-1 : materials for crafting and money :

  • 2: to progress you need to farm gear and enchant it , fine , but you don’t get veiled crystals out of all the gear at lower lvl it feels like a chore when you need 36 to put an affix on a piece of gear ( then doing it 8 or 9 times ) and have to dissassemble 150 .

  • 3: money for enchanting affixes : the cost to enchant is high and could be toned down , now money is not the hardest thing to get but again , adding everything else its still a time sink , the real problem is changing 1 affix on a piece of gear , the increasing cost just gets so ridiculous thgat now i re roll an affix a maximum of 2 times and just give up, most of the times only once .It should not be like that , it should be fun and rewarding not feel like i am getting taxed .

-4: everything is great but the costs of everything need to be tones down , the money needs to go up as well from t2, t3 to t4 like in diablo 3 , remeber that a game is supposed to be fun and entertaining and should not feel like a chore ( it does now to me ) , now remember i am a fan and played a lot of it but now i just don’t see the point grinding past lvl 67 ( i have a 80, 70,61 and 67 necro ( last one is the seasonal ) because it feels too much like a mandatory time sink , just like a job, and i am losing interrest because of it , i hope things get better .

-5: respecing prices and inventory limitations : now i heard that devs are lowering prices of respecing by 40% next patch , that will do some good if you keep the same build/gear and just want to fiddle around with points but i made 4 necromancers because of the points below:

  • cost of changing affixes are too high , if you lower the respec prices then enchanting and everything related to gear and builds need to go down as well because its connected , sure you make more money anbd mats end game but you need to stay encouraged to get there .
-inventory space needs to be increased a lot and so does shared inventory , i made 4 nercros because i did not have the space to store gear for different buils with good stats , aspects ect…( gems are getting fixed soon so i wont mention them ) and it was just too expensive to respec all the time , storing aspects and gear for different classes was also discouraging and i just could not put everything per class in one shared inventory window

all in all i really love what was done for d4 but the mechanics in diablo 3 for enhancing gear , equipment and respecing were much better for pushing you to try different builds and experiment , why put a price on respecing when everything else is expensive enough as it is , please remember its a game , it should be fun, relaxing , stimulating , you should feel powerfull, it should have a lot of nice quality of life because it’s there firstly for entertainment and not create frustration .

Yea it gets boring quick but theres no easy fix for that,at least in d3 you could make an alt easy and try something new

yea exactly , in d3 you could just focus on having fun and feeling powerfull , looking for 2 pieces of a set and thats it , also gems are useless , in d3 you could boost main stats , armor ect… they missed the train on that one i feel

It also had cool class only achievement rewards, like the trag ol wings for necros

ohh yea i forgot about that , i actually spent time to unlock it and it was fun, also the minions were nice and powerfull , you could have a lot of build diversity

It was also super intuitive to figure out how to get it to since the achievement itself gave you the road map

I agree that things are too expensive.
