Diablo 4 Beta on PC = unplayable :(

Takes an hour to log in the first time, disconnects me after 20 min. I have to quit the game in order to even attempt to log in again.
Takes another 30 min to login…crashes after 15 min.
Quit the game.
Another 45 min to log in, crashes in 15 min.
Quit the game.
Another 25 to log in, crashes in 20 min.
I get the long log in time, its beta weekend. Sure.
But in the 5 hours I have tried to play it. I got maybe 45 min game time due to the constant crashes.
I have been looking forward to spending all weekend in Hell.
But not THIS kind of Hell… :frowning: very sad, very sad only…

I hear you and I’m having the same issue, spending more time in queue than I get to play before a disconnect happens. Just know that last weekend all of these issues were fixed by early Saturday morning. Have faith that they’re gathering data and making corrections to this! …But tonight’s likely to be a slog.

If you missed it ,It did this last Friday also .They eventually got the bugs worked out it just takes time and this is a much much larger amount of people trying to log in.

Yea but I only have the open beta. So I only have this weekend to play…
I had planed on spending all weeked playing… but no :frowning:

Wouldnt bet on it. Last time there were status updates.
This time they said they wanna stress as far as they can intentionally. No Posts about fixes, news or anything.

They just want to see how many players they can get in at max at any given moment with current infrastructure and calculate if its enough to safe as much money on infrastructure as possible.

Sad but seems to be like it.

boo… not good.
Im so dissapointed.

I feel ya since i started playing at 3pm cst, I have had 5 disconnected from server errors followed by 316719 error. in the last 4 hours Ive got to play around 30 mins since you have to restart game and wait for Q with each Q time ranging from 30mins to hour 15. Did you guys learn anything last-weekend? this is getting old.

I was able to get to chapter 5 of 6 without a hiccup, but as soon as I tabbed to another app, the D4 client crashed…

The attack vocals are really annoying.

And, the Mouse z-order is screwed up.

More likely they are trying to see what bottlenecks appear when the servers are overloaded and find out if they can be eliminated in software or if they need to beef up the hardware that is running behind that bottleneck.

Blizzard would have saved themselves a lot of grief if they called this a stress test weekend instead of an Open Beta.

same,

play for 20 mins, disconnected, close, reopen, queue for 30-45 mins, play for 20 mins, disconnected, close, reopen, queue for 30-45 mins, play for 20 mins x 15ish times so far.

If it’s unplayable how come I’m level 22 and have been playing it with no issue all day?

I can’t even get that far…I keep getting messages that Windows isn’t updated or supported or w/e but my freaking Windows DOES support this game. Sigh…

tried login actually? no queues anymore! i got in 2 min waiting time

Horrendous , i actually get kicked out every 10 minutes sharp

If it did this last Friday and and is doing it again this Friday, I would assert that they did not, in fact, get the “bugs worked out”

We shall see but ya at least for me getting in was fine and all but the stuttering and over all lag making it unplayable

Get a batter computer or better internet provider.

Zero disconnects.
Zero crashes.
Zero errors.

They said publicly they were going to intentionally throttle things on Friday and open them up over time to see how their systems handled the load.

Try playing as admin when you start the Diablo 4 icon in windows. Turn off firewall try diablo4.
