Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal Ratings

I know, I know …

Diablo Immortal bad, the worst, etc, at least from the “hoard” of haters POV.

Now one must wonder, how is it that D:I gets this score on Android…

4.7 star 1.32M reviews

and

4.6 • 222.2K Ratings on iOS

…and Diablo 4, which literally, from their point of view is better than “the worst game in Diablo history” : Diablo Immortal , gets scores like 1 out of 10 on metacritics, or 5 out of 10 on Steam ?

…because the haters can’t create lots of free accounts on iOS and Android and cast their hate 1 start vote like they do on metacritics or on Steam, where they purchased the game, cast their hate vote and then 100% refund.

So its clear that whoever says “look at Diablo 4 score, lololololo worst game in history@#@#@!!” , etc has no credibility.

Another part of the reason is that Deep down many of the players like P2W games. These are the bad players with more money than sense. There are many of these players and Diablo: Immortal is like grade A quality drugs for them as its one of the worst examples of P2W ever made. ITs completely shameless P2W. The entire game is built for it from the ground up pitting sides and guilds and players against each other in an endless arms race.

Right …

…that’s a pathetic excuse. I also played D:I for some time. Its not a very good game from my POV but no where near whatever the haters are saying.

Ok so let’s ignore millions of votes ( we all know votes are not the total players ) so actually 10s of millions of players because they love P2W right? All of them. Yup … makes perfect sense.

How did I not think of that until now?

…right, because its idiocricy.

DI could be the most successful Diablo game in the series, both score- and revenue-wise.

I said part of the reason not all of it. Why get so angry? If we take your example and say that Diablo got review shamed, then it doesnt change the score for Diablo Immortal. It just improves the score for D4. So my point still stands. Many players like this game P2W and all. Its not idiocy. Its the truth according to your own posted scores.

Acording to my own post?? Because … how did you got to that conclusion? Because of high score?! People who loves P2W aren’t giving this high score to a game.

Yes, your way to answer as to why the high score for D:I … its pathetic and idiocy.

But maybe because the game is actually good? Hm? I don’t know … but could this be?

My point as to why D4 gets this low score and D:I isn’t …its a very , very solid point. To give many negative score on iOS and Android one must actually download the game, use multiple phones, virtuals, etc and then cast the vote. Not worth the time …

On metacritics … in . .what? 1 min = 1 vote? Less if you are a bit faster. And you would be surprised as to what haters can do and how much free time they have …

Dude what is your problem? If you read what I said you would not be calling my comments pathetic and idiocy. I said part of the reason is that some ppl actually like p2w and liked it. Are you really going to contest that some more?

You dont think a single person liked for Diablo Immortal because its P2W?

I got some bad news for you. P2W is made because ppl like it and do it. Alot. More than you can imagine. Grow up and get with the facts. P2W is the new model because it works. I never said its a good game or I liked it or I support it. I hate all of it. Im just stating the facts as I see it. Go ahead and have the last word. Im not going to stay here and get disrespected for my thoughts over and over.

P2W is the new model? It has been since years ago. Where have you been ?

“facts” like yours that games have good score on Android and iOS because they are P2W. I mean sure, there might be some who does that, but … that’s not the norm, isn’t it?!

That’s not facts. That’s you using your rights to post your opinion. Mine are facts or at least a lot closer to facts than … your facts.

I love the unwarranted hostility. Another great addition to the D4 endgame. chews popcorn

Here’s my honest review of Diablo Immortal during the launch phase and 3 months of play & D4:

Combining the April’s Fool Joke guy and the general consensus of mobile games, DI had a bad rep to begin with from a typical PC gamer standpoint. And with that, I had particularly low expectation specifically because most mobile RPG games usually have the AFK-farming feature opt-in with a lot of P2W microtransactions. Also, the quality of the game and physics/graphics engine tends to underpar in order to optimize on mobile platform.

Surprisingly, Diablo Immortal team was quite serious with the quality of the game. If I would compare the state of the game to an average indie steam PC game, it is definitely an “overwhelmingly positive” level of complete game. Why? because DI team introduced new PVPVE mechanics to the game which the D3 team had never achieved. So, from a PC gamer standpoint, DI is very impressive for a mobile game. Indeed, it proved to be a “certified Blizzard grade”.

What is a certified Blizzard grade?
Even if the graphic engine or physics engine isn’t the latest tech, the content and gaming feature delivers.

What stopped me from playing is the p2w aspect becoming the main source of character power just like any PC gamer have expected. (Actually, it is the semantics the DI team used after the Beta phase that there wasn’t going to be any p2w, but they lied. Hence, Raxxanterax announced to remove their support for DI)

Now, comparing to DI to D4 and other AAA title PC games, D4 DOES NOT certify as the usual Blizzard grade. It’s made for PC/console platform and the content came half-baked or should I say content gated behind seasons/expansions.

The content and game features from DI is the true successor of the D2.
(If you have played through both full cycles of Immortal/Shadow in the game then you know)

Overall, I didn’t expect the rating of DI to be that high. It was quite “mixed” during the launch phase. But I guess for a typical mobile gamer, DI does come very close to Genshin level.

To be fair, yeah I do think that rating for D4 got bombed but I don’t feel unjust about it. It’s one of the prime example of a poorly delivered game.

I would say the 5 out of 10 on Steam is pretty accurate. D4 isnt that great. Good campaign art and music…then it dies a horrible death after that. End game just is not fun and people move on.

Well, I give it a 7, but … probably its a 6 as of now.

…but nowhere near 2.2 out of 10 on Metacritic. That’s idiocricy.
