Diablo 4 just seemed to get old pretty quick. While diablo 3 is still fun to play. If I would of bought the game on pc i could’ve got a refund the day I bought it, but alas consoles don’t allow that. I honestly feel thet the best part of the game is Lorarth’s voice actor Ralph Ineson.

Diablo 3 is so good they canceled the second planned expansion in favor of working on Diablo 4. Oh wait, that’s what a failure sounds like, and how management viewed Diablo 3.

Have you seen the D3 forums? It’s a tiny group of conspiracy theorists claiming that Blizzard is trying to kill D3 so that everyone plays D4. I pop in there every once in awhile just for laughs.
For me, D3 is a fun little game that I go back to every once in awhile just to run through the campaign . I play it for about a week before checking out because once I get to the point that I have to spam GR I lose interest. It’s a ten year old game and there is a better version available.

Diablo 3 had the exact same type of threads at launch, e.g., “Diablo 2 is 10x better than this trash etc.”
If you don’t want to play Diablo 4, then just go away and stop promoting such negativity in this forum.

diablo3 always ran bad on all my computers since RoS came in. no idea why. doesnt really matter anymore i guess xD
i got so sick of trying things for that game. glad to be over with it.
I honestly dont know how/why people find D3 fun past 2 hours of gameplay per season. I gave it another try the other day because im waiting for S3.
I installed it, played 3-4 hours. Max level, full set, para 700, and doing 110 gr. Its so boring. Just an endless grind of mindnuming gr with seasonal flavor of the set. Thats the entire D3 game. I have since uninstalled it
Some will enjoy D3 but I hope D4 never turns into that.
I like things from Diablo, D2, D3, Immortal and D4. Each game is different.

My feelings aside on Diablo 3 vs. Diablo 2 or Diablo 4 the “ever could be” is a ridiculous take OP. Diablo 3 today is nearly a different game compared to Diablo 3 at launch.

D3 Wasnt good until RoS but it did make up for it so give D4 sometime to find its place to shine. Expansions are usually where Blizzard fixes its big problems so dont give up on d4 yet
None of us actually know player count on D3 (or D4) outside of “unique player count” released on earnings calls - and that isn’t even constant. Early D3 had a huge inflated bubble due to a promo and went down rapidly due to, again, kind of an inflated starting number due to a promo with WoW at the time.
Simply - you nor I know anything about the population curve on D3
Take that place with a grain of salt. There are a handful of people agreeing with themselves on sock accounts, “making fun” of the D4 forums and I’m thinking “pot calling kettle black, much?”
I’m sitting in my game room with a ton of NES cartridges. I don’t have your strength.

We can know the sales numbers even when it was released way later on switch. It was far from a failure. It was one of the biggest selling games of all time and sold extremely well on every system
