Error: diablo iv was unable to retrieve necessary data.Please check your network connection.
Everything was working perfectly for the last days/weeks and even today and now suddenly i get this error. I didn’t change anything so no idea what it might be.
- I checked the files and no errors found.
- Rebooted the pc but still same problem.
- Antivirus is not changed or giving problems.
- No windows update.
- No graphic driver update.
- Netwerk connection is fine 800Mbs and stable.
- I tried diablo 3 and it also takes a LOT longer than before to connect but at least it still works.
The weird thing in D4 is that it now takes a lot longer before i see the character screen and once i select one it also takes longer to start. Then the game starts but after like 5 sec i get this error and it crashes.
A week ago I had the problem that suddenly Battle.net did not see any of my games anymore and it looked like it had to download all the games again.
I then searched for it and when i selected the folder the battle.net started to update the games and after that everything worked fine.
So it is weird that it happend but I had no problems after that so it is strange that now 1-2 weeks later i gt this error.

Uninstalling battle.net and installing it on another location did not solve the problem either
Update for who have same problem: After uninstalling both battle.net and diablo 4 and reinstalling it from scratch on another location it works again. No idea if it is a permanent fix but at least i am online 10 min and no error yet.
