Devs could we get some clarity on shako/grandfather/andys drops?

I mean, they confirmed it was in the game, and when it dropped they confirmed it was real.

I don’t know why they seem to have chosen twitter as their main means of communication over their own website but… that seems to be the case.

You only lose the red dust, there is zero risk for any non hardcore character. Not sure what you heard but the info is out there.

It’s been confirmed but I would play the game as if they didn’t exist.

I love the fact of having chase items, however…

In a game full of people, and with how prone are people to brag, not having this forum flooded with “I got Shako” posts and needing to dig into a single WoWhead screenshot and devs statements to confirm that they do exist, makes me have concerns.

Grandfather, Death’s Fathom and Tyrael’s Might are OK to me despite assuming I’ll possibly never see one of them dropping in my life. And despite having lv99 with 2 chars and having played D2 every single year after its release.

But this Shako looks like 1000 times rarer than Mang Song’s.

Yeah I’m pretty much assuming they messed up and missed a decimal place in their drop rates because having these drop at a rate of 1 per million game hours or whatever it is now doesnt make any sense in the slightest

Its not even 1/1,000,000 hours… There is no confirmed drop on Grandfather with likely over a billion combined hours played world wide. Its more rare than winning the power ball.

I am going to be THAT guy and state we have not heard because of greed.

Right now, we need Auction House; we need trading; etc. are popular on the forums. This is because RNG has not been kind to some people. So, “suddenly”, when trading is allowed, you will see these “impossible to find” gear pieces in droves.

people already are selling Accounts with Harlequins on there… :stuck_out_tongue: Most of them are obvious fakes that make an easy buck on gullible people xd

Exactly my point. Those accounts will get banned, people will get upset. Still, Blizzard did state that you cannot Play 2 Win D4, it is not like people were not warned.
