Devs are complete idiots, entire game riddled with bugs, side quests are stupid

Finally finished all completion of each region thanks to Zolmation. This is by far the stupidest thing I’ve ever played. The Devs are COMPLETE IDIOTS. My last quest for Hawezar was the geode. I open EVERY ore I come across, over 150 ore to find this geode. I couldn’t imagine this was my last quest. I finally found it while farming corpses in dismal thinking that was my last quest. Over 150 ore to get that Geode is ridiculous. Their RNG on drop quests is idiotic.

These 3 step drop quests too with no quest log is so stupid. I have no idea how you figured that out. Must have read the code or something. For one crappy RNG drop quest to be a prerequisite to another crappy RNG drop quest with no quest completion log and no hints from speaking to npcs is the most ridiculous and idiotic setup I’ve ever heard of. I cannot believe they made this and all in a room together went like, “yeah that’s a good idea”. They’re unbelievable idiots

No rewards for full completion either is stupid. Give us extra paragon or like 20 extra stats a region or something. They made this game basically saying F our quests, we don’t want anyone to do them. I can’t see anyone ever doing this again. It’s pointless and a waste of time. They don’t even transfer completion to the next season. The RNG is so bad. They should just eliminate side quests altogether if they won’t make even a tiny attempt to provide a decent reward, better rng, transfer to new seasons, and a quest completion log.

Their entire game is still riddled with bugs. They cannot say they actually did a beta. After their last soft patch on June 26, druids are randomly bugged where Lightning storm doesn’t channel and doesn’t add lightning bolts, all paragon/aspects/skill points/ and stats/multipliers are completely ignored. We just hit base damage of 2,000, no crit, no damage reduction, no damage multiplier, no aspects on anything offensive or defensive, paragon not working, etc. for 2 minutes out of every 2.5 minutes. Only thing that fixed it is using cataclysm but as soon as your six second channel window is over it’s back to broken. They don’t even respond to a single bug report. With the over 1,000 people who apparently worked on the game in the credits, they get a 1/10 from me. Every one of them are complete incompetent idiots.

First of all, the devs are not idiots. You’ve obviously never worked for any kind of software company before. The numerous bugs are a result of upper management trying to push the product out the door before it’s 100% ready. It’s not the devs fault. There’s also been reports of the devs being forced to work overtime to get this game ready for release, which shows that they’re overworked and short-staffed. This is another problem with management. Again, not the devs fault.

You’re frustration is completely misdirected, which makes you the idiot.

TLDR. Don’t care.

If you were less childish people would probably listen to you.

They don’t have a single person responding to bug reports. Upper management or Devs, doesn’t really mean a #%#%. Gtfo. Your opinion is entirely invalidated if you’re thinking this is a bug free and well thought through game
And response to exiled, Your reply is childish. My previous multiple bug reports weren’t. Spending $100 on a game that CREATES bugs and then has zero support to fix them or at the least provide a response warrants frustration. Gtfo

Where in that dudes post did he say the game is bug free. Listen I know it’s annoying to pay $70 and then find out you don’t like a game, but it shouldn’t weigh this heavy on you. Cut your losses and move on, you’ll be much happier for it. Or keep raging like a lead paint licker, the choice is yours.

$100, not $70. No refunds. So your answer is that I shouldn’t expect nor want them to fix anything, stop playing, and go somewhere else? There’s a very useful escapism tactic.

It’s not escapism, it’s recognizing that everything isn’t for everyone and sometimes you waste your money, many people see the bugs as minor inconveniences, personally I haven’t noticed anything gamebreaking. For others like yourself it’s clearly enough to send you into a spiral so if I were you I’d definitely avoid live service games, especially around launch

And I’m not even going to attempt to address your quest critique. If there is even a single quest in this game you can’t figure out without a log holding your hand it’s definitely an IQ issue. Hit some books.

wow the rage is strong with you my friend. if you honestly think a dev is going to read this with the insults you have included then you are mistaken. You make yourself look more than an idiot than you accuse them of being by posting like this.

Everyone hates bugs, but even if you paid $1000 for this game they would still be there. If you think you can do better they go work for them or make your own bug free game and compete against them.

Don’t play it anymore for the love of god quit complaining and whining while still playing it and finishing the whole game.

Very informative. Cool story. Keep living in the past and complaining about the present because that always accomplishes so much. Good luck my friend.

I hate to jump on the pile. I know what it’s like to be frustrated with something you enjoy but it’s a bit much. I think you maybe posted shortly after a bad dungeon or something and then let everyone get a good rise out of you. It happens brother, but no need to create spaces with people.

The game does have some bugs but honestly, it has the least I’ve seen in an online only AAA game in years. I mean people just fully expect everything that comes out to need a day 1 patch and this really didn’t need it.

We all see the issues and the main was the exp grind. It’s been tweaked. Of course they aren’t gonna fire it way up because then you can’t lower it down or we are all grabbing the pitchforks, am I right.

Give it some time my man. They’ll get it right, or at least right enough to be able to appease most folks.

As someone who worked in customer service, I can guarantee you that I would put your support request at the very bottom of my to-do list if you wrote it in this tone. I hope they do the same.

Im ao reminded of the team that made titanfall and titanfall2 and all of the numerous bug reports I submitted.
Usually I’m not one to care hie long it takes to get a response or fixed if it isn’t game breaking or giving an unfair advantage, but in a Fps TDM game, where scoring points is the be all end all of the game… well, scoring more or less points than you should is absolutely an issue.
I recorded multiple videos of killing say 2 npcs for +1 each, a real player for +5, and a mech for +10. Let’s all do the math here, it’s easy. 17 points. End of the match and I’ve killed nothing else and end the match with a score of 13… WHAT TF??? Keeping in mind you got nothing for assists, and no combo of kills that I had done could result in that total.
Never on single response from them ever. Even from their lone (literally one guy) “media relations face”.
And here we are again, a multi BILLION (64.95 as of today) dollar company and they can’t get ANYONE to interact with the people giving feedback, suggestions…ANYTHING. That’s just fn lazy.

Ah yes, because it’s always the snowflakes who work the desk and they dont like people having ANY attitude whatsoever, regardless of how right/correct they are. Best to just ignore them because they already spent their money, so F them right. They better not bring any attitude here after spending 130 bucks for our broken product best to just ŝtfu and like it.

I am 50+ years old… never have I allowed a client talk to me that way and hae had to hang up on many and tell many more to cut it out or they won’t get the service they want. That is an ignorant and immature way to even go about a problem you see, that’s simple respect and business. Sorry you are along with OP and can’t understand standard common approach to things.

Yeah, you try to polite approach, but after a while and NO response, well you switch to being rude, what’s the difference?
Your delicate feelings get hurt AND the customers still don’t get any resolution… now which one was at least satisfying for the customer?

Oh they can bring the attitude. No worries on that. And I will handle it with my own attitude as well.
If they feel that upset because of some issues with a product, they are the snowflake IMO.

Let’s try this with different words then.
You see an ad on TV for a new car, you want to buy the new car, so you ring them up and pay upfront for the new car…
Then they call you up and tell you your new car has arrived, and it’s ready to go home with you. You’re excited, it’s got all the bells and whistles you’ve ever wanted…
Then you pull into the lot to get your new car.
Only. It’s missing a wheel, they’ve got no spares and no idea where it is or went or if it even came with it.
No side mirror either, who needs em.
The hood is missing too, but that’s pretty minor.

Are you still a happy customer?
YOU could do all the work and at least fix your car up out of pocket of course, I’m sure you’d be delighted, because what’s a few minor issues right…
Well, we don’t even have that option, as the game is solely on their servers, with their issues, without a single response to anyone here in the lobby complaining about 300 different issues, and another 300 wondering why tf they took 35 steps back from where D3 is at in terms of QOL issues.

It’s just not how you expect a AAA company to operate.

Sidenote, I FULLY expect this crap from ubisoft, and a few others, they have a track record of terrible issues never being resolved.

There is a difference between being an unhappy customer and being a disrespectful customer IMO, but you do you.
