So my core skill does 40-50% less damage for a negligible amount of mana or am I reading it wrong?

i’m still not understanding this, does this make skill casting cost less basically?
plus the new malignant enemys all drain, at least that’s what the loading screen tips say.
Still easier to just skip the affix entirely though. People weren’t fishing for affixes before season 1 for no reason, after all.

no. you can easily test this in game. It doesn’t apply to cast cost
