If they make items tradable besides gold and rares then there will be bots everywhere selling those items. Lets not do that.
Trading is redundant on a level. They could slightly improve drop rates instead.

Do you think having an ingame auction will solve your problems? Since the items are so rare, their prices will be extremely high in auction. You’ll still need to spend a long time grinding to get the billions of gold to buy it on auction from those handful of players who have and are willing to sell it, and during that hundreds of hours of grinding, it is likely you might even find as a drop that same item you wanted to buy on auction.
this game would have no purpose if you didnt have to grind for items

Apparently that’s not what I meant. 
This is how people like twisting what other people say on the internet. 
It’s easy to understand. Blizz/D4 don’t care about casual gamers. They want to make sure that the initial sale is all they get from us, no reason to buy the stupid season/battle pass. I’m not able to play 40+ hours a week, so I’ll never be able to play a build I’m interested in.
It would solve a ton of mine.
I sold tons of items for real life money on the d3 auction house. Rent was super happy those few months.
this right here is why I am totally against having legs and uniques tradeable. “Why do I care” - I care because you are creating a P2W environment, and preying upon those who need the instant gratification for their 30 minutes of playtime.

Griding gets boring quickly don’t you think?
Able to accumulate currency and eventually buy it and make new builds is much enjoyable!
(or found the item before accumulating enough money is even better!)
I’m still farming Death’s Web in Diablo 2. You know nothing about farming and grinding!

by the time you grind the currency, you will likely have the item rolls you want, or something better. The in game gold cost will be astronomical. There is already an issue with gold sellers on the official discord.
