can we just do away with account bound stuff. its just making it worse for palying with friends. let me craft something good and gift it to my friends. or sell it to make more gold. or trade it for some other thing i need. its one major thing that makes this game feel anti-social!
I agree with Mythics and modified gear being Account Bound. I do NOT agree with items from a Whisper/Barter/Citadel Cache being Account Bound. They are literally the exact same items that can drop anywhere else, so it makes no sense.
im good with this too.
I’m highly indifferent with items being account bound.
It’d be convenient to trade Mythic’s sure, but I don’t mind playing the game out of fun just to try to get it myself.
Barter items are not bound.
Yea I agree here, doesn’t make any sense. It’s no different then finding items in any other form of content.
Barter Cache Items are.
i dont see why, everything a character needs is easily obtainable.
account bound items, as well as tempering/masterworking are the best weapon against rmt.
Cache rewards being account bound is an irritant and one which I also can’t see a reason for.
Mythics and modified I can understand, as with others.
i agree actually. i remember last season screaming to iggi i got a fastblood aspect upgrade… yeaaa. couldnt trade it cause it was from a cache ^^
I understand it, you are just a crybaby because you can’t sell them
The game has way bigger issues that need addressed first.
this is one way to effectively curb money laundering activities.
Excuse me? What is it you think you’re accusing me of? Please clarify what it is you claim so I can be clear what exactly your imaginative thought bubble is that I’ll be bursting.
SMH
Yeah, I wouldn’t want to see that stupid system of account-bound items either
This, please Blizzard do this. It won’t affect anything related to gameplay or trading but will make it way less frustrating for players.
BASED AF. yes agreed idk y blizz be doing funky things like that. smh
Yeah. I don’t mind account bound, honestly. I’ve rolled with it since D3.
Now, the content of caches being account bound is completely ridiculous and on that, I totally agree. They’re the same items, same power level, same everything. You get an item that would be perfect for a friend/family member, and you don’t remember that you got it from a cache so you stash it and try to trade… and then, insert "Disappointed! Hercules gif".
Allowing people to give top quality items to other players removes experience and time those players would have spent finding and improving the item on their own. From our end it seems like a kindness, especially if we have unmotivated or inexperienced friends we’re afraid will lose interest in playing. But from Blizzard’s perspective it removes motive and engagement.
This is a job for the lowly weapon rack. Instead of always containing something useless, if we bother to loot it at all, it should contain an item someone else has placed there. Vendors could also be used in this way. Items we feel attached to or otherwise regret destroying, instead go out into the world and brighten some other player’s day. It doesn’t need to be one of our friends. We’re not really doing them any favors by tricking them out with gear whose natural acquisition is a high point of the experience. But if you leave your stuff on a weapon rack or armor stand, or sell it to a vendor, it will appear in some other person’s game.
my main issue with account bound is i cant trade it to someone in my party. like really i want to give my bro a thing that dropped and cant because of this. he cant get one but i have 5 and all dropped with him here. why just why is this system keeping me from helping him and me get better??? there is no reason for it.
