Lets debunk some starting with the most common one:
- Does not affect you in any way shape or form this is single player game:
→ This game has multiplayer and mp pvp with 2 huge zones actually and exclusive pvp rewards, pvp vendors, pvp quests, some builds deal 40% more dmg and take 40% less dmg in pvp just wearing this one helm, i already lost to guy with same build that had this exploited shako losing hours of my cynder progress. Use your brain for moment for simple math, there are 6 skills on people’s skill bar 6 x 4 =24 skill points That is like 25level fighting 50lvl player, shako also gives exclusive damage reduction and other great stats but the skills alone make your enemy in pvp unfairly stronger. And you can not ever catch up to that, because legit chance for obtaining it is 1 in 5million hours, you will perhaps play 100k hours by playing this game 12/7 untill u die irl but that is 4900000 hours less than needed. You also can not buy it, so unless there is another exploit your chance is 0% (lottery winning numbers pretty much)
It is nice that you personally do not engage in pvp OR multiplayer(no idea how but ok u do u), but that is not argument for why should rest of us suffer to the gear exploits.
There is argument to be made for PvE too, where you will simply never get as good kill times, speedruns, defenses etc as ppl that exploited this anti-european event :^D Including ease of challenge completion. Or how this invalidates economy, item chasing, player’s time spend grinding… But that is whatever, i do not need to prove anything more than PvP existing to win this argument.
Game is now factually and provably unfair as proven above, unless you can prove that pvp does not exist in diablo 4 and i’m just hallucinating it ofcourse.

All uber unique drops were promptly disabled and exploit hotfixed in few hours, it is as far from “intended game behavior” as in live service can be. If it stayed for a while, you could make that argument. Not when it got disabled in around 3 hours and hotfixed as quick as the team physically could.

D4 was designed around seasons, that is where most of the revenue will come from. Devs couldn’t care less what goes on in the eternal realm.

that literally makes no sense, as they’ve stated they could try potentially OP things out in seasons, so they can test it out before implementing it on the eternal realm. The eternal realm is the OG, the most important version of the game. Seasons are a temporary test bed.
Your odds of running into one of these 142 players in a pvp zone are approximately the same as you getting a shako drop in the first place.
