which is better say if you managed to roll
CDR, Max Essence, Total armor, Life on your ancestral?
It is difficult to give you a blanket answer related to just one piece of gear without any other context to your build.
Ultimately, I think the comparisons come down to:
- How much do you value the Echo on Visage vs picking/using some other aspect?
- How much do you value the Critical Damage to Bone Skills + Physical Damage vs Cool Down Reduction and Max Life.
You could get a range of different answers and each one could be correct under different situations.
So far, I don’t find too much trouble with CDR, primarily the skills with CDR are Corpse Tendrils, Blood Mist & Bone Storm.
For the most part, I don’t usually spam corpse tendrils since monsters die so quick with just decrep + far range snipe bone spear. Corpse tendrils cooldown is really low as well anyways.
Blood mist is like necro’s version flame shield. Essentially just a bail out button.
Bone storm despite being good, even with CDR, you can’t really spam it? It’s more for like tough elites or bosses only usually.
Other than that, I don’t value CDR as much but life on helm is definitely good tho. I’m not exactly sure if physical damage+crit damage on bone skills > life. The deathless visage aspect is not very useful tho, but the effect looks really cool.
It’s still really hard to choose, I’m using visage now since I don’t have the gold to roll a perfect helm yet
