Death Blow isn’t resetting its cooldown, even though it is VERY clearly getting the final hit. This is only happening to me recently. I have had hours and hours of DB experience in the Eternal Relm. I rolled a barb again a few days ago, and DB is constantly bugging out.
Anyone else notice this?
Same here, been happening over a week now. I first thought it was due to something wonky with the bleed from 2h sword expertise, but I’ve since swapped to an axe and removed any and every source of secondary damage (bleeds, thorns, burns etc.) and still have this issue.
The reset fails at least once per encounter and often end up with zero charges despite every deathblow having killed 1-3 targets.
Edit; if you listen to the sound queues, a successful death blow execute/reset makes a nice slashing sound, whereas when it fails to reset (despite outright killing the target) it makes a dull thud. Not sure what this means but thought it worth including.
I’ve noticed this as well.
I’ve played around with MANY things. I even have Overkill now, and it still has trouble resetting properly. Sometimes it’s even like it misses the target completely (as in that what it sounds like) and yet it absolutely hits AND kills the target, but still no reset.
I also feel like it his like a wet noodle for some reason, even after having a perfect roll on whatever the name of the Legendary Aspect is that I put on my 2h for 200% more damage done after spending enough Fury AND having Overkill equipped… it just feels like they stealth nerfed this ability specifically somehow.
I have a similar problem. for the Death Blow build using the third blade unique which should give DB no cooldown but after 3 hits I have to wait 3-4 seconds before I can use it again…anyone have any idea why?
