We are talking openly blatant worldwide FRAUD if they are lying. Not some “sexual harassment didn’t happen” civil issue.

yeah nope lol, its clearly a DDos, if you look at any DDos map you’ll see its lit up like a chistmas tree lmao.

edit, everything is having problems now, including wow and the battle.net websites.

Apparently “DDOS attacks” make it so the launcher can’t detect your CD KEY!

YEAH RIGHT LOL

Does the fix come with the battle pass ?

You look at the team behind this game, and one picture sums it all right up.
Affirmative action hires of people 50+, who don’t have much of a clue about video games.

Gaming experience ? nah none! You gay ? YUP! WELCOME TO BLIZZARD!

They do that Q/A and mention the battle pass 500 times though, maybe that’s when I’ll get some more tab slots.

They should contact Jensen Huang to use their secured servers imo!!

Probably North Korea trying to extort them for money. They do this quite frequently.

DDOS attack makes it so your cd key cannot be verified by the blizzard servers, which is a required component of their “always online” and a necessary step in connecting to their services.

You can SEE it with your own eyes. Just try loggin into your Battlenet account and see it flooding.

What’s actually happening is, the launcher is trying to connect to the Login / Authentication server to verify that, yes, you are logging in to an actual account that has a valid license for Diablo IV.

But, because of the DDoS attack, the auth server never responds, and the launcher (being a very simplistic piece of software) falls back on the default response of “No license found”.

I don’t think Blizzard forced you to spend $135 on a game. That’s on you and no one including Blizzard is going to feel bad for you. Most companies that provide an online service typically have SRE’s (site reliability Engineers) that respond to incidents like this. A DDoS attack is not a quick fix. They just can’t snap there fingers and have a fix in place cause some  spent $135 on the game and feel some sort of entitlement. They have there notice up, they are working on the issue. Go leave your moms basement and go get some sunlight.
