“Data Retrieval Error
Diablo IV was unable to retrieve necessary data. Please check your network connection.”
This is happening “all the time”. I can’t stay online for even a minute. It started yesterday.
I click OK and the game closes.
I’ve updated all the drivers, scanned and repaired, restarted the internet modem, the computer…
Is anyone else having this problem?
Could Blizzard give me an answer? Is this a server or game problem that you’re aware of?
I’m able to sign in. Sometimes I can get past the character screen, sometimes I can. If I can, I ended up running in place and rubberbanding like hell all over. Ill try to move items and it will lag. Completely unplayable. Ive made sure my graphics drivers were up to date, reset to default settings, checked internet connection, etc. Ive had friends who have quit the game due to disconnect issues. Im tired of wanting to play then being disappointed. Definitely regretting buying the expansion.
Started happening to me today, never had this issue before it’s incredibly frustrating
noticed it happens a lot when I open the map for some reason, I hope tomorrow’s patch will unintentionally fix it because there is nothing different here compared to other days where the game just runs perfectly
