Data error crash

My game is constantly crashing now , i have been playing all week perfectly fine until today.

im getting a data error crash “Diablo IV detected corrupted data and was unable to automatically repair…pls run scan and repair on battle net …”

i bought the game in steam so i dont even have that option on battle net despite my steam being linked to my battle net account. but i have verified integrity of game in steam multiple times.

then everytime i relaunch on steam it “redownloads content” for like 5 mins then launches. i am able to get to character select screen then into the game ill be able to walk around town , do some chest sorting. as soon as i teleport to a diff location ill get the error and game crashes again.

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling
uninstalling then reinstalling to a different drive.
restarted pc
clear my cache

not sure what else to do

my pc specs
4070 Fe
ryzen 7 3600x
32 gb ram

task manager showing 21 % CPu util / 81% Gpu UTIL 98-101 fps 56% memory

Probably you should install battle net, and start from there…

i do have it installed , my game is just not showing up on its library for some reason

You have to point the direction where the game is installed in battle net
There’s a button with that option right on the battle net aplication

where is it exactly im on the "buy now " screen

ye it wont detect it i even delete the battle net file.

You don’t need to delete nothing. If you have already the game, is just point the location of the game in battle net. As simple as that…
