I noticed this season that Dash has a fixed length - really I feel like it should dash to where your cursor is and end there. I only started to really feel this way this season because I’m using quickening fog, and it’s important that your dash end in the monster pack for it to be most effective.
One other way around might be adding that enemies that you pass through with dash are also poisoned.
Anyway, that’s my request!
I use Quickening Fog, too, but Smoke Grenade remains on my Action bar since dashing into single targets (Bosses) every 5 seconds feels very clunky. It‘s perfect for clearing packs of mobs though, as it spreads the 25x dmg across the entire pack compared to manually throwing the grenade and usually just hitting 2-3 monsters at best. But it also activates the second bonus of the „Malice“ (Knock Down) passive, the „Alchemical advantage“ passive (if you have at least one point into poisoned Smoke Grenade) and the „Danse macabre“ legendary node.
I haven‘t noticed a a shortening in travel distance tbh, but that‘s probably because I only started using Dash again in S9 after dropping it in S5 in favor of Shadow Step.
Same! I just realized that the dash ends at a fixed length - and it would be really helpful if you could design where it landed instead.
