The only time I ever joined random groups in D3 was to do split bounties. If Whispers can be done in a split group fashion I might do it then, since Whispers seem the fastest way to farm gold.
But forced group content is a big no from me. I paid for the expansion, I should be able to do all content solo if I so choose. Especially since ARPGs live or die by content. Locking out content to a large amount of your player base seems bad to me.
Many years ago when Marvel’s Heroes Omega was still a thing they made a raid once. In the end the numbers came out that only 5% of the player base ever played said content.
Just seems like a waste of dev time and money to make content that so few players will actually get to enjoy.
So once again I call on the devs to rethink this plan of forced group content.
