Dancing knives could be great if they fix it

It’s still fun as an ‘A’ or ‘B’ Tier build, but honestly, the Dancing Knives skill is only a trigger for traps and Dark shroud provide the DMG and DR.

All they have to do to make it workable again is remove the cap that prevents it from being spin-to-win and give it more damage.
It could be great but likely won’t change in the near future. It was great when it first came in. It seems to work better in levelling and loses its impetus in the endgame other than as mentioned, a trigger.

The new unique pants starting next season might start to fix it. It is still my favorite rogue build, even if it is not the strongest.

Great news  Thanks for that. Yes it is fun to play and it should at the least not be relegated to A and sometimes B tier.

Dont think it will.
It doesnt seem like a multiplier.

Those new pants is a multiplier, depended on the roll can go up to 60x,

Will it be enough for the build to do B or T dmg?
And not be a glorified poison trap build?

I guess we won’t know until the PTR in a couple of days.
In its current form I agree it’s just a trigger for poison traps and death trap to a lesser degree. If it does real DMG from just dancing knives and you can spin continuously the build is back to what it should be.
I did look up the pants. It does look like it will fall short with single targets and bosses because it is reliant on kills to keep the spinning and DMG uptime.
