Damage numbers permanently abbreviated?

Why are damage numbers permanently abbreviated?? And why was the option to choose between abbreviated and non-abbreviated removed?

Yeah even Diablo 3 gave you the optiom to choose. I thought that was a little silly seeing you couldnt choose between options.

yeah idk why they would implement this change, without adding the ability to revert it. I don’t want Ks in my numbers. thanks.

As they say - the best fix for a truck that is doing squeaking noises is to just turn the volume up on the radio

Feel the same with damage numbers & multiplication - instead of dealing with the issue just ignore and make it less obvious

I still think damage numbers should just be replaced with emojis; since we are now in the hundreds of trillions, damage is meaningless.

Just start with the poo emoji, then crying and sad, smile, and work up to eggplant, then infinity.

Agreed, please allow us to turn the abbreviation off with a setting in options or something similar.

Comes in any colour you want so long as you want Blizz.

But seriously their option choices and lack thereof are sometimes comical. Whoever is adding/removing game/UI options clearly doesn’t play like the rest of us.

thankfully I can turn off the ugly chromatic abberation. But now they added this with no toggle. I don’t get these graphics changes without adding a setting toggle.

The answer is stability. It takes a ton of processing power for the server to throw tons of numbers qne render them for everyone. Sounds like a dumb reason, but they mentioned that before. Thats why they wanted to tone down the damage numbers… not sure what happened there.

What?! I cant hear you!
Turn it down?! Why?!
