Damage Calculation Help

Hello,

I have two weapons, the first has aspect 60% damage and affix critical 300% damage, the second has apsect 50% critical affix 450% damage, which one does more damage, what is the formula for the calculation?

very simple, the cat with the bigger tail will climb the wall faster

It depends on your critical chance. And do the multiplications and check which is higher. Remembering that critical damage has a 50% multiplier, so it’s always good to get more critical chance.

It depends on the amount of additive damage you have. Quick napkin math would say it’s just about equal if you’re at 2000% additive. It would be 2300% with 60% multi versus 2450% with 50% multi. If you’re less than 2000%, go for the 450/50, if you have more, go for the 300/60.

If you ignore all other multis, just take in to account crit. Then (and correct me if I’m wrong here), you calculate your additive damage bonus (including crit damage - 50%), then multiply by 50% (x1.5)

Unless you’re calculating crit, vulerable, or overpower, everything on your stat sheet is additive.

Vuln/overpower get a 20% multiplier and crit gets a 50% (as long as you at least have that much in their pool). It’s probably a little more complex than that, and there’s a guide on maxroll that attempts to explain it, but it honestly isn’t written well imho.

The damage is the same for any damage. Which changes your ability to apply it, so if you have 200% ranged damage and 150% critical it will depend on what you apply more. If you apply both close to 70% of Sometimes, ranged damage would be the best. So basically it’s the biggest as long as you apply it. It’s not complex. Now some multipliers are complex and involve some math.
