Damage buffs not good enough

Testing things out with my rogue and I can say for sure this buff was NOT enough.

Which build, if I may ask. Still at work. Can’t test my build yet. :joy:

DOK, rogue feels the same as before. Need more. hopping back on the Spiritborn, HA!

I thought it was just me but nothing’s changed for me (DoK) damage-wise. Whatever “improvement” was made it’s VERY underwhelming, it might as well be non-existent.

Par for the course. I guess the fault lies entirely on me for expecting some sort of improvement. Oh well, live and learn.

I have been hanging in there, hoping that the patch would improve DoK but I’m literally stuck on the same Pit tier and doing it in the same time.
I hope the devs are getting a good laugh over this.

Are there not more victimize procs? I was hoping to come back as a barrage or heartseeker rogue.

Not sure on victimize, running momentum. If victimize is awsome now i wanna know!

I tried DOK, RoA, flurry overpower, tb poison, vict barrage. The “buffs” made minimal changes if any.

My gear is all 12/12 for every build below (aspects are not perfect and missing some GAs)
RoA felt a little stronger, mainly the key passive. Pit 106 comfortably
Opr Flurry felt same as before pit 104
Vict barrage slight upgrade pit 90
DoK is the same pit 90
Tb poison pit 90

Idk about any other class but rogue as a dps class feels extremely underwhelming.

Okay, I tested two off-meta builds that supposedly got buffed in the mid-season patch:

  1. Victimize Dance of Knives: Pre-patch, it could do Pit 75 in 2 minutes, Pit 85 in 5 minutes, and Pit 90 in 10 minutes. Post-patch? Pretty much the same. Lol.

  2. Pen Shot + DoK Victimize: Pre-patch, it handled Pit 90. Now it can do Pit 92, but it’s still far from Pit 100. Let’s not forget, this build isn’t even supposed to exist because it’s unintentionally bugged.

So… does this patch even count for Rogues? I’m seeing slightly bigger damage numbers, but they don’t feel meaningful when it comes to Pit scaling.

Logged on Druid, Rogue, Barb, Necro and Sorc and there was basically no difference for any of my builds despite them all having buffs. Think these minor adjustments just don’t shift up the meta or game at all.

I really like DOK rogue, shiny new fun build, so smooth and fast farming. I am pretty well geared and do 95 pit, with about 2 min left. Glyph’s are lvl 95. I really want lvl 100 glyphs but atm not excited to slow roll high lvl pit to get it.

I am hoping next season DOK will be able to speed lvl 100 pit at minimum. Even if the build topped out at 110-120 next season it would be great!

Also SB evade is similar. I really like it, but craps on my DOK rogue haha

Overpower became S tier with the patch. A million+ HP to apply to Overpower plus the added bonus of ignoring all damage taken. Sadly this won’t last of course.

I don’t know about Pit 150 but I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone do a 130 now.

Only problem is it doesn’t overpower every time anymore if you rely on elixir of resourcefulness to hit 275 energy - which most have to if you’re not using Tibault’s Will (which has other issues). Not like it matters however when the damage output is so insane.

Don’t worry you can have just as much fun in Torment 2 just less loot. :joy:

What a slap in the face for rogue.
